NEIL Simpson today praised Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown for restoring the values that helped Sir Alex Ferguson succeed at Pittodrie.

 

Simpson, a member of Aberdeen FC’s 1983 European Cup Winners’ Cup-winning side, was speaking as Ferguson marked 25 years in charge at Manchester United.

 

Aberdeen FC head of youth development Simpson said: “I see a lot of similarities in how both men work as managers.”
