BACKING: Craig Brown said Aberdeen FC chairman Stewart Milne has been 'tremendously supportive'.

 

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today admitted he’s now under intense pressure to prove Stewart Milne was right to take him to Pittodrie.

 

Brown knows his team has to go on a winning run – starting with tomorrow’s SPL clash with Motherwell at Fir Park – to take the heat off everyone at the club in the wake of their humiliating League Cup defeat by East Fife.

 

Brown’s own disappointment at the result has been made even more intense because it’s Milne who has faced the flak from many Aberdeen FC fans angered by their latest cup exit at the hands of lower league opponents.
