Google Re-direct Virus

I seem to have been watching some dodgy porn and now have some shitty virus that won't let me search with google without redirecting me to viagra and shit like that.

I can't even search how to get rid of it as it won't let me - so anybody know how I can rid myself of this pish or am I gonna have to restore the whole system.

We had this at work the other week. A user had the same problem. We spent hours and hours trying to get rid of it withough formatting but we failed and we ended up having to format. If anyone knows how to get rid in a much easier way I'd love to know.

You guys are fags, browser jacking is best solved by something like Hijack This.

Did you check the log file and delete the suspected files?

Either that or the guy at your work has mistakingly downloaded a dodgy plug-in during a blind wanking frenzy to access obscure vampire porn, similar to dave_min's problem.

Can you not just use system restore to put your computer back a few days to a time when the virus wasn't there?
