Maybe we didn't actually have to be told he was being released/contract not being renewed or I've simply forgotten! I can't see why Langfield would hang around if he was going to be number 2, even if just for 12 months and I wonder what kind of keeper would be guaranteed no.1 status on the dough we're paying.
