Horwood had been on trial at Pools for 2 weeks and the player was due to travel with the squad for their pre-season tour of Holland but has now joined Aberdeen on trial instead, according to the Dons official website. It was widely expected that the left back would be offered a contract by Chris Turner, this news could leave Pools pre-season plans in disarray. Sounds like someone who can play SPL level.
