The longer the season goes on the worse we are getting rather than McGhee being able to steady the ship. Things should become easier post split as we play smaller teams in the bottom six - however currently we have the 11th worst record in the league v the bottom 6 teams with us only gaining 1 point more than Hamilton.

Thats it though - every time we play the 'shite' teams, we struggle to break them down, lose a soft goal & end up scrabbling for a draw (or getting beat).  I actually do think that there is enough quality in the squad to break down & beat the majority of the teams in lower half of the league.. but there seems to be an apathy about the team which results in these bad results.  whether MM just aint a good enough motivator to get the confidence levels back up - I don't know, but the longer we go without a win, the worse the problem will get.

ABERDEEN FC must beat Dundee United tomorrow to avoid equalling the club record for the longest run of matches without a victory.

 

Aberdeen FC have gone 11 games without a win twice before, way back in seasons 1916-17 and 1926-1927.

 

A*** M***** went close to making it an unwanted hat-trick in 1998, the last time Aberdeen FC went 10 games without a victory.

 

No Aberdeen FC team has ever gone 12 games without a win.
