McGhee reckons Aberdeen FC winger Pawlett’s direct play and explosive pace is reminiscent of Barcelona star Messi. And while keen to stress Pawlett will not be the next Lionel Messi, McGhee is convinced the youngster can terrorise Scottish defences further if he scrutinises footage of the Argentine international.
