Aberdeen FC’s Pawlett urged to study Messi

Boss McGhee’s praise for young winger

ABERDEEN FC boss Mark McGhee today advised teen sensation Peter Pawlett to study world player of the year Lionel Messi.

 

McGhee reckons Aberdeen FC winger Pawlett’s direct play and explosive pace is reminiscent of Barcelona star Messi.

 

And while keen to stress Pawlett will not be the next Lionel Messi, McGhee is convinced the youngster can terrorise Scottish defences further if he scrutinises footage of the Argentine international.
