...are they going to kill us?

Anyone who can remember the Porterfield era will recognise the similarities - unfortunately Porterfield thought that because we had the best defence in the world (true story) that he could buy shoddy front players - Hackett, Jones and Edwards - and there seemed to be no emphasis on attacking play, even when he signed Charlie Nick and had Paul Wright, Davie Dodds, John Hewitt, Stevie Gray already in the squad.  We were fucking murder and he should have fucked off well before he actually did.

And then, in more recent history, Willie's second full season. We came second in the league by 3 points.  We drew half of our matches.  That is painful.  A league title for Willie Miller and that team...?  What would we be talking about now...?

Mini and Stoney fishing, no doubt....  ;)

.

The other thing in common with the Porterfield era, is that Porterfield also had to follow a great manager.

;)

Draws are shite.

I'd rather we won 1 and lost 2 than drew 3.

Actually, fuck it, I want 3 wins.
