Your last post was X seconds ago

This new function is murder if you encounter it and then click back to try and post again, the "post" button doesn't work.  :hammer:

Just been having the same problem. Whats it about ? To limit posting  ? I tried to post about 60 secs after my last in a different forum and it still came up....how long are you supposed to wait ?

It's doing something weird lately and admin are aware of it and working on it I think.

Shame it didn't work with our spammer on Thursday night...

Yeah I'm trying to get to the bottom of the problem right now. Looks like a glitch in the system, as I've already disabled the flood system on the site ... yet heaps of people (myself included) are getting this error.

Apparently my posts are all "less than 0 seconds ago"

WTF! I know I type fast, but nae that fast :-\

Just made a change to the coding of the site. Can anyone report if you're still experiencing this particular problem?

As per MBT post...happening a lot this afternoon

I've been getting it every 2nd post for months now, and there is more than several seconds between them (honest).

Similar here too.

Me too.

I can't recall if its every 2nd post, but it happens daily anyway!

To the guys who get this error message, do you open several messages in one go across multiple tabs?

I find I get the "Your last post was x seconds ago" when I open multiple messages in one go across multi-tabs, both in IE, Chrome and Firefox. I'm figuring out how to fix this problem, but am just wondering if others who have this problem view the site in the same way that I do?!

Nah, I never do that, but get losts of error messages.

I got it on my mobile this morning! First time its happened on that!

I disabled WYSIWYG editing in post-replies yesterday to combat another issue. But I had fears that doing so might cause a certain problem for mobile users. Can any other mobile users confirm the "Your last post was X seconds ago" error?

I just got it, with no multiple tabs open, and approx. 2 minutes after my last post.

EDIT: Using Firefox on Windows 7.

Thanks. I think there's a coding problem on the site from when I did the last major upgrade.

I'm currently working to get a cleanly installed version of Donstalk up and running on a different server. Once I've verified that the "your last post was x seconds ago" problem has gone, I'll switch the main site over to the new one.
