What colour are the stripes? Are they gold? I can't quite make out what colour they are.

Yep. An early cup exit to a third division side should see this strip 'cursed' and consigned to the bottom of the kit bag.

Payment system is a load of pish though. Card details screen has text not visible as it is in same colour as background and it insists on an issue number being input for a Maestro card even though it doesn't have one 

The United away top is the same design as our home and 3rd top.
