Keeper crisis could worsen

Not sure if this has been posted on here yet.

Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters admits he is willing to let goalkeeper Ryan Esson leave the club for free.

The 27-year-old signed for Shrews last summer from Aberdeen and he may be set for a return to his former club.

"Ryan's agent asked if there'd be a fee if there was a chance of a move back to Aberdeen," he told the Shropshire Star.

"We would not stand in Ryan's way by putting a fee on his head. Ryan's had an unfortunate season with injuries and he's not much of a sellable commodity."

The Old story about time healing all wounds is probably going to see Langfield back.

Just my gut feeling until I see the club has outright released him or transferred him.

Let's not worry about Esson

Nah. I don't care how much Leighton rates him, I'd rather we didn't see Esson back at the club. It'd be a step backwards for us. For fuck's sake, he is THIRD CHOICE at Shrewsbury!! Not only that, but he seems content with his third-choice position!!!! What the hell's he going to do for us?
