Aberdeen sack management team

ABERDEEN FC have sacked their manager, Steve Paterson, along with assistant manager Duncan Shearer and coach Osier Williams.

The Aberdeen board also announced that Dons legend Willie Miller has returned to Pittodrie as director of football. Miller will oversee the appointment of a new manager at the club.

 

"After careful and painful deliberation, the board has agreed that radical action is the only way forward," said Stewart Milne, chairman of Aberdeen FC.

    I was thinking earlier about what I was doing 5 years ago around this time. Thinking that Paterson would get given until Christmas to sort it out...
