Yet again despite us having, by common consent a shit storm of a season, and United having another "best season in decades" season we finish above them.

I still remember in pre-season when we played Dundee, were talking to some United fans in the pub who were telling us how they had a much better season than us last year, which we went along with for a good half hour, before dropping the bombshell that we still finished above them.

2003 - 2004,  we finished 11th, and they were 5th

Made even more sweet by the fact today was their Centenary day

I feel a wee bit sorry for them - 2 years in a row they have been made to suffer the old firm winning the league in their stadium

 

Fuck hopefully we will be playing there next May

All through the season the media have bigged up Levein and United, yet again they finish below us

United have had their best two seasons in a long time and Levein has done an exceptional job, these are facts.

 

However, its indicative of the level they are at as a club that this is the best it gets. They lived in our shadow when we were kings of Europe and they continue to do so. They are a shitty little outfit playing bland but competent football under Levein.

 

Hats off to that.
