For those who ventured along yesterday, who was your man of the match?

Derek Young 1st half and Aluko in the 2nd, I said Young because he was on for longer.

Aluko for me. He was the only player who had any sense of urgency. Maguire would have been next option.

Langfield. Only one that really seemed to care in the 1st half and he was the one that kept us in the game right till the very end.

 

Plus his save right at the end

How did Considine get on? I know in the highlights he was mostly featured for his two yellow cards but he also had the penalty claim at the other end.

 

I've opted for Maguire.

 

Was very aggressive, used the ball well and was our main threat up front. He's starting to fulfil his potential at long last.

agree totally, has been growing in confidence over the last 2 months or so and looks like he will be a top player for us now.

Personally thought he was solid at the back. Probably the best of the back line on Saturday

I can understand why he took Maguire off for Duff, we were down to 10 men and were trying to settle for a draw.  Duff was the defensive option and it was a case of seeing the 90 minutes out as Motherwell were always going to lay siege to our goal.

 

We also needed the ball to stick whenever we managed to get it up front, this is of course something Miller does superbly well.
