Captain, Scott Severin led his team-mates on a tour of Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital yesterday as they made their annual Christmas visit, helping to bring some festive cheer to the sick children.

Scott was joined by Zander Diamond, Lee Miller, Jamie Langfield, Darren Mackie, Chris Maguire and special guest Angus the Bull.

The players and Angus spent over two hours on the wards happily posing for bedside photographs, while handing over special Christmas presents to the youngsters.

Aime Flett, pictured with the players, was thrilled when she unwrapped her girly craft set.

Skipper Scott Severin was delighted to play his part in making the trip a great success.

"The visit we make to the children's hospital every year is a very important date in AFC's calendar.

"All the players donate money for the presents, then a group of us visit the hospital to meet the children and hand out the gifts.

"Since I joined the club I've had the chance to visit the children on several occasions and it can be very moving, as many of the youngsters have to spend Christmas in hospital and not at home with their families, but it's great to see the smiles on their faces when they receive their presents.

"It's a privilege for us to be able to spend some time with the kids and hopefully bring some festive cheer to their Christmas."

The players and everyone at AFC hope all the children they met make speedy recoveries and get well soon.
