Add that to the fact that Scotrail tells me it's at least a 4 hr 15 min train journey costing a minimum of £66.60 but more likely £73 and they can shove it up their queen street tunnel. you'd be much cheaper getting separate tickets to glasgow then glasgow to hamilton would you not?
