Just been told that there is flooding on the line between Dundee and Aberdeen and that passangers are being bused from Dundee. At the moment they expect this to continue for a few days so will be on tomorrow. Going to effect travel times and more importantly the size of carry out as no beer will be allowed on buses.

Train services between Aberdeen and Dundee are being disrupted due to a landslip.

Short notice alterations and cancellations can be expected.

Please note that due to a landslip, Northbound services from Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh to Aberdeen will terminate at Dundee, Southbound services from Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh will start from Dundee. Replacement road transport will operate between Aberdeen and Dundee calling at booked stations.

And on the coast road.  Might be lucky and pick up a bus direct to Aberdeen though depending on bus sizes and number of passengers.

It usually only stops at stations which have tickets booked from /to so that might save a bit of time. I think they have also ran direct buses in the past

When they have run replacement buses in the past they have usually run one that goes to all stops and one direct to Aberdeen depending on numbers. However they were only running a bus via all stations this morning. Hopefully this was just due to it being early arrangements following the flooding and they will be better organised tomorrow.
