After Foran falling through I was told by a friend that Higdon was an option for us.

 

Apparently we had already approached Higdon prior to attempting to sign Foran to create a fallback position.

 

Fits Jimmys desire to have a 'bigger' team, affordable, wages within budget, I reckon he would be a good addition certainly is a handful and gets stuck right in.

 

Only stumbling block is the commute for his family already 3 hours from pool to Falkirk

 

Will wait and see...

19 in 95, surely? Certainly according to Wikipedia, anyway; haven't checked Soccerbase and the like.

 

Anyway, no doubt may of those 95 appearances were as a young loon at Crewe. Remember that he would have been competing with the likes of Dean Ashton and Luke Varney for a starting berth at that time, so no shame in such an apparently poor record.

 

Anyway, a better test of his capabilities would surely be his time spent at Falkirk (during which he scored regularly), no?

I agree from what I've seen of Higdon he's not great, Im hoping we'll sign somebody better than him and Foran.

Higdon has never impressed when I have seen him against us. Would not be good move imo.

Sadly Higdon would probably go straight into our starting line-up.  He is better than Mackie and Bebo, therefore would probably be a useful signing.
