He’s one of these guys that we always say we can do better

And invariably never do

He has done well last few games but for me we need to aspire to someone physically stronger or more technical

Always feel he is playing with fear and would rather take the safe option backwards or sideways than forwards

Happy enough for him to be signed up but I don’t disagree with the sentiment that we should be doing better. Whether we sign better is another matter all together so right now happy for him to get another year in all honesty. If Robinson helps unleash his potential, then I’m all for it.

Yeah, Ah think he's a good bet .... even if only a squad player. True we can do better, but we've also seen worse.

We could make him sweat a bit for a renewal - see if he can up his game and make the boss' mind up up for him .... maybe risky tho, a marked improvement might see him offered better offers from elsewhere.

As long as he’s a squad player, yes. Especially given he’s a ‘coach’s dream.’ Can play central defense in a 3 or 4, or left back/left wing back, but is certainly not a long term first choice starting 11. We have to remember Ian angus, Steve Cowan, Willie falconer, Brian Irvine, Ian porteous, Bryan Gunn, Stevie gray, Paul wright, the list goes on. Not perfect players and not first choice starting 11, but much like molloy, served a purpose and good honest pros. There’s a definite place for them.

I actually thought Molloy was a lot younger than he is. Turns 25 next month so how much more he can improve is questionable. I agree with most of the above comments, and have no problem with him signing on as a squad player.
