Panda Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Not much experimenting going on there, still looks like a 5-3-2 / 3-4-1-2. Think we can safely say Shinnie won't be here next season as that's now four out of six games he's been on the bench under Robinson. No Lobban or Gyamfi in squad. Quote

Aye, I wonder if Shinnie will end up back at Inverness? I like Geiger instead of Cameron, but I'm still not sure about that midfield three mix. I think Armstrong is better playing advanced on his own, but Aremu is better playing in front of the back four, so we've got that problem we had with Clarkson and Armstrong and Geiger or Shinnie forming a lopsided partnership with one player who doesn't put in the same work. Not sure what I'd prefer. Probably Shinnie and Geiger hunting it down high up the pitch, with Armstrong in behind moving the ball quickly, or the reverse. Quote

But yeah, I think for him it makes sense to go to Inverness and see out his career at somewhere that - I presume - he's considered a legend for his cup win. He could still do a job for us, even if it's off the bench, as he can play off the left or the middle. But you can't have your captain as a bit-part player, and essentially emasculating him by making him give up the captaincy but remain on the books isn't how his Dons career should end. Quote

Panda Posted 29 minutes ago Report Posted 29 minutes ago Any talk of Olusanya on a permanent deal I think should be quietly put to bed after that. Quote

Such is his stock that I doubt many of us would have an issue with him picking up a coaching role with us assuming such a role existed of course Quote
