  1.

He fell over less than Miller would have

Vernon may not be the greatest player in the world but as long as he keeps scoring the goals at the rate he is managing at the moment I'll be happy.  He is just 1 goal short of Lee Millers best haul of goals in a season for us now and it took 48 starts and 4 sub appearances for Miller to score 13 goals

  2. Pretty standard stuff from them, they usually ask for the cost of the shirt/baws they donate.

My sis organised a charity auction a few years back and every club DONATED a few bits and pieces. Celtic were not represented as they wanted the cost price of everything.

Pretty funny when you think that charity was one of the reason they were founded.  And if you know your history indeed ::)

  3. I was beginning to wonder if this guy was real or not.

Aberdeen have this afternoon competed the signing of 20 year old Myles Anderson until the end of the season. The English youngster is a left sided defender who can play in a number of roles.

Myles spent some time at Blackburn at the start of the season and Craig Brown received a recommendation on the player from his contacts down south that resulted in him training at Motherwell shortly before the manager left the Fir Park club.

Myles told RedTV "I am delighted and very proud to be here. I had a number of opportunities to sign for different clubs at home and abroad but after spending sometime at Motherwell with Craig and Archie I knew I wanted to work with them. I was honoured they were so keen to bring me to Aberdeen. I have huge respect for them and they are the right people to take my career forward."

Myles has been allocated squad number 25.

  4. Gives us a chance to pull away from St Mirren in the next league game.

Forgot they were our next league opponents.  Three points from that game would be very very welcome in the current circumstances.

  5. "In training we work on possession, passing and movement. The strikers work together as do the defenders and by Wednesday they will have the back four set up and the same keeper, that's the way it stays until the game.

A couple of months ago we just didn't know what was happening under Mark McGhee but the new manager has brought everyone together.

It sounds so simple.  Makes you wonder what McGhee was doing with the player when it came to training   Judging by the quote above it is little wonder the defence has been all over the place this season.

  6. Doubt it.

The re-arranged fixtures will have been agreed by both clubs and afc always prefer midweek games on a Tue for some reason.

Ah yea forget Tuesday was our preferred day for midweek games.  Should have remembered that as I missed our game at home to Inverness as it was meant to be a Wednesday but was shifted to a Tuesday.  Missed that game because I already had a trip down to Glasgow to see Amorphis and Orphaned Land in Glasgow which turned out to be far more enjoyable then the Dons game would have been!
