Don't worry, it'll soon be trained out of him.
Ha ha.
That's exactly what I said on Saturday at the game.
Noticed the boy had a bit about him.
Said that we'll soon bring him down to our level.
-
I now know why he got injured . . . .
Oop's!
-
Big Vern for me.
Pulled himself out of his sick bed after giving birth to a half stone jobby & doing what we've being crying out for a striker to do for a long time. I.E be in the right place at the right time.
He gets my vote.

I haven't heard or read people 'slating' the guy.
I was enthused & impressed by the lad and feel he'll get better the more games he'll get under his belt.
-
He said in another interview later that after fearing MacNamee could be out for 2 weeks at least, MacNamee felt that with rest and treatment his Groin might be okay for the 1st Celtic game.

Great to finally have a striker who knows how to be in the right place at the right time.
Keep it up big Vern

Think he was unlucky not to get man of the match today...
I thought he didn't do to much in the first half.
But with Brooners decision to swap him and Magennis he showed up more. And made two great crosses for Vernon to get on the end of.
Not MOTM material for me though, not today.

Getting tore into that Steig Larsson trilogy just now.
So far so good.

Welcome aboard Loon.
Hope it works out for all of us.

Of the 2, I'd be looking to offload Ifill for a nominal fee. Say a packet of bon bon's & new shin guards for Folly.
And Maguire becuase he's going to leave anyway. Brown know's this hence his pursuit of Blackman IMO.
-
Neil Lennon acting like a prick towards Billy Reid at the end.
And Stokes moaning like fuck.
Can these pikey fucks not win, lose or draw graciously??

2-0 Utd against Well.
Blackpool 2-1 up against Liverpool
Ipswich 1 beat Arsenal.

Why all this confusion about Rowie's anyway?
Is the Aberdeenshire Shield Trophy actually a Gold plated Rowie??
-
Other than the 47 tickets sold together and the folk posting on here, how big a deal are the Red Army making of this?
I just can't seem to muster up any enthusiasm as I keep feeling physically sick thinking about my last trip to Hampden.
Well muster it up & go support your team.
Get over it.
The reason the 'Red Army' are making a big deal of it is because there is a new found self belief about the club now we seem to have managers in who know what they are doing. Unlike JC occasionally & MM generaly.

Secured a permit for him, now just need Udinese to agree to extend his loan on the same conditions.
ABERDEEN have secured a work permit for Serbia-born defender Nikola Vujadinovic. Now they need a new contract. The on-loan Udinese player’s deal expires on Friday and, although he has regained fitness, he will be ineligible to play for the Dons in their SPL encounter against St Mirren at Pittodrie on Saturday unless a new deal is agreed.
Aberdeen chief executive Duncan Fraser is in negotiations with the Italian Serie A side as Dons manager Craig Brown is keen to keep the Montenegro under-21 international until the end of the season.
Udinese are paying all of the 23-year-old’s wages but are trying to get the Dons to contribute. Money is tight but Aberdeen are hopeful.
Brown said: “As it stands Vujadinovic would not be able to play against St Mirren. He has returned to training and he is available for recall but we need to extend his loan deal.
“Duncan Fraser is on the case and the talks have gone well. We are hopeful something can be done. He did well in the games before he was injured and he has impressed in training.
“We have secured a work permit for him already, so we are halfway there.”

Out of the three, that's what they are least likely to be called in Aberdeen. I've never heard anyone call them that.
I've called them that. Or Rowies, never rolls.
Rolls I call softies, which are baps.

Happy enough with the draw.
Chance for a bit of revenge against the Pars.
Also a boost that one of the OF will be dropping out in the 5ht round.
-
Heard of Stevie Gray before, but don't what like a player he was.
Was he a good prospect??
-
Adds variety for me.
Gets boring playing the likes of Hamilton, St Mirren, St Johnstone etc 4 times a season.
-
I don't want to see any split, never have liked it and never will like it. I'm now favouring an 18 team league, play each other twice. Re-structure the league cup to increase the amount of games if more revenue is required, go back to a mini league format or something like that.
I like the sound of that.
Absolutely no split for me.
-
Laudrup, Gascoigne, Zerouali, Larsson, Lee Miller and Moravcik were brilliant
paul hartley has never been, in those terms
You're surely having a laugh including Zero & Lee Miller in the same class as the others??
-
Technically Miller is a much better player than Vernon but Vernon has the strikers knack of being in the right place at the right time. If we can get the creative players in our team firing on all cylinders then what Vernon offers will far outweigh what Miller could and did.
Exactly

I'm fairly pleased with the comings and goings at AFC this window.
Brings us good balance on either flanks and Milsom for me has been impressive so far.
