It's a big day here in the Cathedral City. Lets hope it's tears of joy this year!
-
Brilliant. Welcome home loon!
-
I thought the very same KGB, but felt like letting the chaps on the forum what cam out of a Div 3 Board Meeting on Monday. None of whom I would imagine know what either this forum or Aberdeen Mad is.
Lot's of stuff get festooned about, but like you say, stranger things have happened and it wouldn't surprise me one little bit
Stranger things have happened I suppose

Heard that Hartley was going to be in interim charge until till the end of the season with an announcement just before the Hertz game for added crowd effect. No idea if there's any truth in that though, but my lower league sources are generally pretty decent.
-
A move that'll be welcomed by the fans says Duncan Fraser. Aye right. Shite decision and another season ticket game down the drain.

Cheers for Dnipro Dazzler. It really is time to move on though.
-
He's really high rated by the Pars boss because they played together at Scumdee Utd. Be warmed Jim Mc. He's pish.
-
can you get off the wall please.......
That'll be fence then Mizer
-
I think we'll find out more about him in the next couple of games. On the basis the conditions were somewhat akin to 'Winnie the Pooh and a Blustery Day', it was just too hard to tell.
-
Is it just me or is Rory Fallon really a pickle of shite?
-
There's only one, Bob Holness, One Bob Holness, etc etc etc

Score: Forfar 1-3 Aberdeen
Dons first scorer: Jack
Time of first goal in game: 18mins
-
Shocked, that despite his age, there's no mention of Jack. He's a local boy who we have on a slightly longer deal than most. So I'll pick him!

Not so sure this will be on tonight. 85mph find and rain look like closing the A9. Nae idea when a decision will be made though.

Not veering too far from TC's point.. why would JC come back? I know it's not going to happen anyway but even if he was offered a role up to the end of the season why would he take it? I know he's desperate for a job but I'd still be surprised if he'd agree to that.
Wouldn't be against the changes suggested by dunblanedon TBH be honest.
Tyrant. I spend a very interesting evening with JC in September and was really surprised to find that not only is he a decent bloke, but he actually give a chuff about the Dons.
Despite the misgivings of many, the reason for his departure was down to his views not being shared by 'his pal' Miller.
His role for me would be to get players passionate about playing again and help us stay up, get Adams to grips with the SPL and mentor him through the first season.
-
Having watched the efforts of other Mangers who appear on their feet encouraging their teams (McIntyre and Butcher as those who lie worryingly ahead of us do), it's obvious that Brown, despite his undoubted qualities, is lacking in the ability to show the same passion and drive as others.
He pretty much constantly sits in the dugout and I think this transmits on to the, and I use the word advisedly, players.
Right now, I'd get rid of Miller, put Broon upstairs and perhaps consider bringing in JC and Derek Adams until the end of the season at the very least.
Of all the protagonists, we'll not see the back of Milne until he's had his way with the whole bulldoze/build/stadium build plan that he clearly has, but frankly, Miller has done nothing with his part in our history to suggest he's doing anything other than taking the coin. Frankly, he should be out peddling his part in why the club is part of the fabric of the area to the likes of Trump and the sector suppliers that provide Aberdeen with it's status as one of the wealthiest parts of the UK.
Rant over.

In/Out: Out
Pre match: Jaggy Thistle, Santa Ponsa
Match: See above
Post Match: Pub crawl
Prediction: The lowest crowd of e season and a lacklustre 0-0
-
Utterly inept all over the park. I see Broon has apologised to a really terrific away support for an 'indifferent' performance. Frankly, if the players showed as much energy and commitment as the fans, we'd be in better shape all round.
Bit of a twat referee didn't help, but we really didn't help ourselves.
-
Loving the new away kit. Shades of 84 when the horizontal stripes replaces the legendary 83 shirt. Good work fellas.
-
I may well still be correct...
Belter! SHOES!
-
In terms of football ability and cunt ability off the park he is better than Maguire on both counts.
