  1. Firstly, i'm fricking exhausted with these last 6 weeks. I'm fully expecting a netflix series to be launched in the next few months explaining this - instead of "Making a Murderer" what about "Making an erse of it"

Next, "concomitant"? Have they got the same North Korean PR exec that called Trump a dotard writing their pressers now? I'm surprised the filth know what the word means. I'm certain they were trying to spell 'commitment' but fucked it up that bad that microsoft word recognised it as a word.

Lastly, is it just me or does this spin like Deek was playing mind games with Der Hun in making them believe he was going to sink to their level? Afterall with the past 6 weeks and the guff that has been spun through the everlasting conveyor belt of ex filth commentary on the matter I wouldn't be surprised if this was a big "git it roond ya" to the orcs.

  2. Just got sent this, Naismiths challenge on Milsom that got him taken off. Of course it shall be said that it was a 50-50 challenge and poor old Naismith for being out for next few weeks. Fucking disgrace - and don't get me started on that Willie Collum cunt.

Stumbling drunk Czech referee sends off three players for no reason

Czech police were forced to breathalyse a referee after he sent off three players for no apparent reason and spent a lot of his time on the floor.

Tomas Fidra, who reportedly 'smelt like a brewery', had been celebrating his birthday before the game.

The Czech referee had a few too many before taking to the pitch (PA) The Czech referee had a few too many before taking to the pitch (PA)

After spending much of the early minutes of the match stumbling around the pitch and falling over, the official then decided to send off three Jestrabi Lhota players for no reason.

Karel Dusek, an official from the Jestrabi Lhota club, told the Lidove Noviny newspaper that the boozed-up referee 'didn't try to hide that he had been celebrating'.

He explained that under current rules there is nothing that bans a drunken referee from taking charge of a fixture, so the game continued with Jestrabi down to just eight players.

The game ended 1-1 after the opposition, Tynec-nad-Labem, agreed not to attack following the bizarre dismissals.

'If we had refused to continue to play, we could have been sanctioned,' Mr Dusek added.

In the end the match was annulled by the regional football authority on the basis of fair play.

Meanwhile, the official, who had a 1.94 per cent alcohol level in his blood when he was tested by police is facing a possible 12-month suspension for his actions.

  4. What a dark dark night for football. I don't really think this is a time to celebrate. Woohoo we got a last minute equaliser but does in no way disguise this abomination of a football team. Youl Mawene sums it up perfectly on the beeb website

Aberdeen defender Youl Mawene: "It is a game that we 100% have to win.

"We don't seem to quite have that winning mentality yet. The Old Firm teams are capable of always picking up maximum points whether or not they play well.

"We have to pick ourselves up and start working harder in training.

"We have got the talent and on paper we have a decent team. But, if the mentality is not quite right, you are not going to win many games."

No shit sherlock!! I shudder when we draw a lower division side. Stenny, QOtS, Dundee! They are all fucking lower division teams yet we fucking play like amatuers with the combined footballing ability of a rabid diseased three legged dog. Yes they may have had 3 shots on target with 3 goals, we had 23 shots in total with 11 on target yet struggle to score against a defense belonging to a side that is sitting bottom of the second divison and has conceded 14 goals already this season. Another alarming stat is they had 54% possession tonight.

Aberdeen FC, its long been said but I have refused to believe in it, you are a sinking ship.

  5. Just been released by Norwich. Please please please do not be linked to us again

1927: Not a transfer, but another addition to the legions of free agents who, like Sol Campbell and Owen Hargreaves are not concerned with transfer deadlines - they can join clubs whenever they like (if, like Hargreaves from Manchester City, they get an offer). Norwich City have released midfielder Stephen Hughes by mutual consent. The 28-year-old made two Canaries appearances last season, and was loaned out to MK Dons.
  6. Not really fussed by this

    LEIGH GRIFFITHS' GOALS

    2008/09 - Livingston 19 goals

    2009/10 - Dundee 19 goals

    2010/11* - Dundee 10 goals (* left in January)

                                    (48)

    DENNIS WYNESS GOALS

    2000–2003 Inverness CT 67 Goals

    2003–2006 Heart of Midlothian 11

    2005–2006      Inverness CT (loan)  8

    2006–2008 Inverness CT 6

    2008–2010 St. Mirren    2

                                                (94)

Can score goals in the lower devisions but when it comes to the SPL not overly prolific. Take Dennis Wyness for example.

But still more prolific than Mackie  :hammer:

    1998–present Aberdeen 57

    2004 Inverness (loan) 0

  7. Summer football (although most people would scoff at the mere sugestion) would result in better attendances, better quality pitches and give Scottish teams a chance at a start in Europe.

As said before a structure to that of what the MLS has would be advantagious. A draft system would only work if junior football was properly developed with better facilities, coaching etc. Currently the US Youth Scoccer Association has over 3 million players registered between 5-19.

Lastly the MLS has had 9 winners since 1996. What other football league can match that?

Celtic's Euro reprieve hopes revived by Sion player row

Celtic have been given renewed hope of being re-instated into the Europa League after Uefa insiders indicated that Sion are likely to be thrown out.

The Glasgow side lost 3-1 in Switzerland after being held to a goalless draw in the first leg.

But Uefa president Michel Platini said: "What is happening there is the rules have not been respected.

"FC Sion has not respected the rules of the transfer ban - they signed players and then played those players."

Celtic have written to European football's governing body protesting at the inclusion in the Sion squad of five players deemed by Uefa to be ineligible and a hearing expected on Tuesday.

Sion will be in the draw, but they can be subsequently excluded

    Gianni Infantino Uefa general secretary

Defeat for Neil Lennon's side for now means that Celtic joined Hearts and Rangers in exiting the Europa League - the first time since European competition began in 1956 that there have been no Scottish clubs involved beyond August.

And Platini suggested that the Scottish Premier League needed to take action to improve its member sides.

"I am very disappointed with Scottish football, which has such a great history in European football," he said ahead of Friday's Europa League draw, which paired Sion with Italians Udinese, Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid and French outfit Rennes.

"They have such great clubs and it is a shame none of them have qualified, but these things are decided on the pitch.

"The Scottish league have to look at this situation very seriously now.

Pascal Feindouno celebrates Sion were 3-1 winners on the night - and in the tie against Celtic

"It's a shame clubs like Celtic and Rangers are not doing very well at the moment, but maybe in another year they will."

Sion are in dispute over a transfer ban imposed by world governing body Fifa after breaching rules over the signing of Egypt goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary three years ago.

The Swiss Cup winners have since been found by Fifa, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the Swiss supreme court to have breached the transfer ban, but the club are challenging the decision in a local court.

Uefa general secretary Gianni Infantino said the case would be dealt with by the organisation's control and disciplinary body next week.

"The civil court ruling does not affect Uefa," he said.

"We will look at our rules and the Fifa rules. There is a ruling by Fifa, CAS have ruled, it went to the Swiss supreme court and everything was confirmed, but it has been challenged again.

"It is an interpretation question which is complicated - whether a two transfer-window ban means two transfer windows or parts of several transfer windows.

"Sion will be in the draw, but they can be subsequently excluded.

"The control and disciplinary body will make a decision certainly before the group stage starts."

Trust those shower of bastards to find a loop hole to qualify  :hammer:

  9. What is wrong with Mawene? Granted it was only highlights that I have seen of his performances so far (so they might not show his full game, if he has one) but he looks more of a liability than Zander! Caught out so many times in the Caley game that I would shudder to think if they still had Rooney we would not of walked away with 3 points.
