  2. You're called Mackie's ace! How am I meant to take you seriously?
  3. Did you seriously think that I'd suggest people go swimming in the North Sea?
  4. The North Sea is undervalued in this case I think.
  5. We're called Aberdeen Football Club. The last bit there being the key word. Crystal?
  6. Paul Weller - 22 Dreams
  7. That's been a big problem we've had for a while. The majority of our defenders over the last few years, and I include Anderson in that (tin hat on), have had poor distribution. Makes such a difference if your defenders can take the ball comfortably out of defence, and give it to someone who can cause a bit of damage.
  8. 1. Sammy Stewart 2. Bertrand Bossu 3. Mark Kerr 4. Gary McDonald 5. David McNamee?!? 6. Tommy Wright?!? 7. 8. 9. 10. What's the lad Stuart Smith like?
  9. And I bet the sale of McNamara sold a fair few too...
  10. Linked with him in todays EE - http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/736690
  11. Yes he has, if you're just judging him on the basis of on-field performances, then you're a tonk. And I don't even know what a tonk is. But you are one. Tonk. Again, are you another that judges on-field performances only, or do you look at the bigger picture? Tonk. 2 semi-finals, last 32 of Europe, 4th in the league. He brought in a fortune due to the cup runs and league placing, and that's not even taking into account the fact he still had to make cutbacks for the good of the club by selling his captain, and two of his regular picks in Hart and Clark. A vast improvement on 3rd place and no cup runs in anyone's book. Fair enough point. What I was commenting against was your point that we'd be bringing in 8-10 players. Calderwood did say this, and I'm sure he will bring in another few players, but I just think he gets a really hard time when the blame can't be placed directly at his feet. Stop being such a miserable c*nt all the time then : : : : :
  12. It's always the ones that do f*ck all that get in trouble.
  13. He's taken the club forward year on year.
  14. Spot on. It was a friendly, against a team who were invited here to play us to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this club's greatest achievement. Regardless of who came here, it's worth showing some of the respect they've given us. Throw in the fact that they are European champions, boast some of the most talented/respected players you're ever likely to see in Giggs/Scholes, and are led by the man who's happened to take both sides to the top of the European game, as well as giving EVERY fan the greatest periods of both club's histories. Regardless of what you think, that's worth showing a little bit of respect too. And if your way of showing respect is to give a round of applause, by all means, clap until your heart's content.
  15. Well I hope that it is the same again, and that we can yet again improve on the previous year's performance. As we have done every year since JC has been in charge.
  16. F*ck it, here's the link to a load of photos from the game - http://www.redcafe.net/f6/pics-vs-aberdeen-210676/ Match thread - http://www.redcafe.net/f11/aberdeen-v-manchester-united-204876/ (someone bizarrely says that Severin is fast as f*ck ) Seagull talk - http://www.redcafe.net/f6/seagulls-210677/
  17. Reckon we could keep him for next season?
  18. Ask, and they will deliver.
  19. Hypothetically speaking...
  20. Legends. Nothing else need be said.
  21. The cup was won on the European stage
  22. Anyway, onto more pressing matters... How's the traffic next to your house, is it the same as 'Uptown'? I heard that you 'Can't Go Back' along one of the roads in your area. Driving that road 'Over and Over' would turn me into a Zombie, Man'
