  1. so are you saying McGinn is trying his best then

lmao, watch if he "performs" 2nd half.

You're having a bigger shocker on here tonight than McGinn with that paranoid nonsense.

Maybe McInnes has changed our tactics because he wants us to lose our confidence for his beloved rangers coming to pittodrie next season as well?

Seriously man, the utter pish on here about mcginn at times is embarrassing. I'm livid at how he's performed tonight, but I'm not a fucking idiot so I know it's nothing to do with his 'allegiance'

  2. as a defender when I could still run about a bit, I'd have had to be held back if Scott Brown shouted at me like that after gifting a fucking howler to Hearts.

Yes someone could have closed the guy down quicker, but he's 25 yards out, and you've just fucking palmed it a yard in front of you after having about 10 minutes to actually get down to the thing.

  3. Walker's melt down on Sky was glorious.

wasn't it just? Loved that Gilhaus Clearly thought he was talking sh*t about how he (walker) would sack Deila tomorrow.

I thought young Storie had a great game, and Shinnie's tackling is immense. brick wall of a defender.

that said, Celtic were awful tonight. for a team just pumped out of a cup by a minnow in comparison, it was a half arsed attempt at salvation. First 25 mins they looked up for it, then when we scored against the run of play they just stopped, which is a great sign (for us)in a team that has a chase for their title.

The one worry I have is that we do our f**k ups elsewhere and let them off the hook for their results against us. but enough of the pessimism. lets enjoy tonight!

  4. Are we absolutely sure that we're now underachieving after our record start?

I'm starting to think we were ridiculously over achieving for the first 8 games now.

a combination of us being in our stride from the off thanks to our early european start, and other teams being shit.

Have things now regressed to the mean?

Watching the f**king outrageous attitude applied today by pretty much everyone was a stark reminder of the 19 years leading up to Rooney's penalty at parkhead. Going 1 nil up after 6 mins and then basically strolling about as if it was an end of season game in the bottom 6 with f**k all to play for. It was infuriating.

There's few things in football that enrage me more than a team suddenly chasing every ball in the last 10 mins when they are brought back level having led most of the match. It just proves that up to that point, they have been giving less than 100% which is unacceptable.

Although even with the obvious extra effort, it was still Hamilton who had the better chances to go on and win it.

3 points were there for the taking today, but in truth we ended up stealing 1.

  5. I must be in the minority. I agree it was harsh, but at the same time have seen lots of similar reds given, even in the English premiership so not surprised the appeal failed.

I'd relish that kind of tackle when I played, but these days it doesn't take much to be considered reckless.

Hopefully Johnny enjoys his rest and come back hungrier than ever

  6. As much as Sutton is a biased tool, he at least could say the word "penalty" properly. Something an ex professional player now working on TV should manage pretty well you'd think.

Hartson has somehow managed a career in the game thinking the word is 'pelanty'

  7.

Loved the cheeky Killie penalty! GIRFUY Collins, even if it pains me to be pleased for mccuntloch and the sevconian light bears.

Loved Higginbotham's comments after the game too.

"I think everyone in the league will be looking at those comments and putting in an extra shift, like we did"

While it shouldn't require something like that to make you work harder, I'd like to think the Celtic dressing room are aware of what Collins has done now.

  8. I actually thought Jack was a little disappointing. Some things he did well, but he faded out of the game at times. Would like to see him impose himself more.

McLean did exactly that when he came on.

Also thought when goodwillie went off, you could see why he's preferred to Rooney in the lone striker role. Barely anything stuck when played up to AR, which invites more pressure back on us.

I wonder if they're star striker will be fit for next week?

  9. I'm sure the trial period went a fairway to helping him settle into the squad, hope the lack of competitive football doesnt mean he takes a while to get into the swing of things.

More decent business by the club.

par for the course these days..

  10. Anyone use Virgin? That Branson guy is a lot less offensive on the surface at least.

I use Virgin. Got TV & Broadband. As some else said their broadband is top notch. Been upgraded twice for free and it's faster than anything else I've used.

I've got full TV bundle which includes BT not as an added billable extra. Although I only got this when threatening to move to Sky and they upgraded me for cheap.

However my monthly cost has increased by a few quid at least 4 or 5 times. The letter they send usually blames this on Sky charging more for their channels.

They have Netflix as a channel, so if you subscribe it makes it a lot easier to watch on your telly which is handy.

Oh, and you can't get sky Atlantic which is a bit annoying.

  11. It's more than £30 a month tho, is it not?

Sports is around £25 a month but you need a basic package first to add the sports to.

They admit the sports itself is a loss maker, but it's used to sell the complete Sky brand.

Itll be the minority that take a bare minimum package, with just sports.

HD + entertainment channels plus broadband will supplement a fair amount of sports subscriber's overall fees.

BT Sport probably has a fair bit to do with Sky's panic. I think over the piece, they've had a lot of the better games this season

Sky couldn't afford to lose more coverage to them.

and I also much prefer their build up and overall experience on there to Sky. Which is a damning indictment on Sky when you consider Both Robbie Savage and Michael Owen are on BT! Carragher & Neville on MNF are the exception.

The Football meets Top Gear abomination that is Saturday night football with Jamie Redknapp's never ending stream of cliched fucking nonsense has put me off watching any of those late games.

As much as Mourinho can be a prick, I'm loving his constant calling out of JR.
