From Northsound:
AFC NEWS - Motherwell are digging their heels in over a compensation package for manager Mark McGhee. The Gothenburg great is in Aberdeen with his assistant Scott Leitch having agreed personal terms. However I understand the deal is being delayed due to a difference in what the Fir Park side want, and what the Dons are offering for the 52 year old. I can tell you Motherwell are demanding £260,000, however Dons chairman Stewart Milne is only offering £150,000. It's still hoped a deal can be thrashed out today (Thursday) with the new boss then being unveiled at a press conference.
We'll bring you all the latest news as we get it throughout the day.

I can only find a story linking the binman to Motherwell
Sure SSN aren't just confusing Scottish teams?
It is indeed Motherwell.

The amount made from suing the press/huns that claim we sing "Who's that lying on the stair well" would clear our debt alone
The press might have some money, but I doubt we'd get much from the huns who claim it.

That's what I am thinking.
John Boyle came out and denied any links to McCall this morning.

Just seen it.
It first says:
ABERDEEN WORKING TO AGREE COMPENSATION WITH MOTHERWELL TO APPOINT MARK McGHEE AS MANAGER
It then scrolls on to say:
ABERDEEN THREATEN LEGAL ACTION OVER STORY LINKING THEM WITH PARTICK BOSS IAN McCALL

Jimmy Nicholl has been interviewed in issue 2 of the new Scottish Football Magazine The Away End.
The interview has been carried out by someone those of you who remember the original AFC Chat might remember - Panda.
The magazine costs £1 and issue 1 was a decent read.
More info here folks http://www.theawayend.net/

We had this carry on the last time his contract was up.

Was told it was the game at Tynecastle
I had assumed Falkirk, but looking at this http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/res/documents/PlayerSuspensions/Season08/09/LOS27(22Jan).pdf
He might not have incurred a suspension yet...

It appears to be a straight race between us and those two for third place. I said to my Jambo mate yesterday that we're the team to beat because I can see Hearts losing a couple of players this month and as for United... it may be too early to say and it may just be over-optimism over yesterday's results, but I think they may start to tail off a bit. I think their squad isn't good enough to sustain their good form over the course of a season.
So I reckon third place is ours to lose now. We've got a big game on Saturday and we've got both Hearts (looks as though we'll be without Kerr for that one due to suspension) and United in the next month.
How worried do you think United and Hearts will be after yesterday's result?
Having a look here, it seems Kerr might not have incurred a suspension yet:

Although a booking today would definitely rule him out of the Hearts game if he is not already.

He is destroying some Austrian dude just now. won second set 6-0 and is 3-0 up in the 3rd to win it.
It's the same guy who he really struggled against in the US Open.
Murray does it for Scotland...

Supposedly to signify being "up to the knees in fenian blood".
How dare you besmirch the good name of those who "deserve better".
Rangers Football Club would never engage in any kind of institutional sectarianism, nor would they look to profit from it either.
-
so ye dinna need them
There is no doubt that teams would suffer initially if the bigot brothers left, but over a period of time, a really competitive league would start to flourish again.

That's a problem. There are probably hundreds if not more that would attend Pittodrie a lot more often if they didn't have their own team commitments to fulfill. It seems to me that it'd make sense to move all kids/amateur team football to Sundays. I certainly know a good few people who'd be at Pittodrie if they weren't playing football.
A lot of the problem with that is there simply aren't enough pitches to do that.
Although if you switched the youngest age groups to summer football, that would help a great deal.
That and having shrinks visit schools to reverse the effects of Sky brainwashing kids into 'supporting' foreign teams, as that is a huge cancer on Scottish football.

We never actually had him. Scouted him and said he was too small.
Maloney is a tim and always wanted to go to Celtic.

See it seems like a wind up as it is so retarded, but if you were on the wind-up would you use your works email account giving his name and when you google that nae you find him complaining about falling off his bike and hurting his poor wee ribs as he steered into a pot hole to a local newspaper....
Link please.

Does anybody know if Falkirk accept students as Concessions? The web-site doesn't say anything about it?
BUT for the first time ever, it says Hearts does
According to the info sent to supporters clubs, Falkirk does accept students.
-
But you didn't go to support Aberdeen. You went to see Celtic. Why are you struggling to understand what the problem is here?
Is there not still a sign at that end of the ground that says home support only?

Are you single handedly supporting the economy of the North East?? Wow! You definitely deserve credit for that...
Carfin, featured recently in Taggart?
Anyway, should you not have supported Motherwell, as your local team?
But he's Irish.
Why would he want to support a Scottish team?
-
He's unhappy at the abuse he is getting from the Family stand
Wasn't it Tommy Burns who complained about vile abuse at Pittodrie on the day that Mr Pendrey caused Strachan to have a run in with the AFC official?
-
This really is distressing – isn’t this the type of rhetoric that UEFA are investigating Rangers forums about…….and I thought my North East comrades were better than them, so guess I am deluded!
I’m so disappointed with my local brothers this week……..what sort of a community am I to bring my children up in?
You know what you can do if you don't like it.

I love how he was disgusted when sitting in the home end but intentionally chose not to sit in the away end with the "greatest beggars in the world" / superior people.
Absolute cunt. I hope your house burns down you abortion of a human being.
Oh no, you mentioned abortion.
The Celtic minded mob will be after you now.
