I second glasgow sheeps view. I'm sure they've done this to us before for some other game we asked to postpone or move, and they trotted out the same 'costs us corporate money etc' shite. Hope we get the three points and get it up 'em.

He can go any time he likes as far as i'm concerned. He's been very poor and his passing has been especially shocking. Doesn't look up for it at all. And god knows what wages he's commanding, but on his displays so far it's way too much. I had higher hopes for him when he came, despite him apparently being poor at wolves, but now quite frankly, i'd be happy to see the back of him.

If they use the eufa money for players, then i guess the cash from anderson'll be quietly pumped in to the debt. Either way, some of it needs to go to the debt, another decent season and a couple of cup runs could ease things a bit, if only stewarty would do more than just offset a couple of mill....

You're nae kidding. My plums went numb just watching it, and when he was hirpling about after, you could almost feel the nausea kicking in! Ooyah!

Lee miller is hilarious to watch-can barely win a header, falls on his arse all the time and is probably the laziest man i've seen in a red shirt in god knows how long. As for stavrum, he was often offside and a lazy swine, but he still banged in a lot of goals and had a lot of assists haven't seen much hope for either of those points from miller. Yet again our strikers didn't score today. Thankfully our defence and midfiled are pitching in a fair bit this season so far.

He really makes you wonder doesn't he? Yet again today my heart sank when i saw seve in defence. Jimmy, put him in midfield *every* game please. It IS his best position. 

Derek Dung was his usual useless self yesterday. And at fault for their second in my book with a useless clearance that should easily have been dealt with. I almost felt like running over from RDS to run up to jimmy and say 'SEEE????'. Squad player fair enough, but not on from the start FFS. He IS as shite as i remember from last time. God help us. It was almost back to the ebbe-days when folk would mill around the box with no-one willing to take a shot in the second half, and the defence sitting back for both goals.

Personally, i thought we had more than enough chances to win this if we'd taken any of them, but our 'strikers' lack of ability to put it in the back of the net is a worry. The better efforts i remember all came from midfielders too. I hope there was just a bit of 'thinking about thursday-itis' or we could be in a bit of trouble. I'd almost be willing to ask caley for a wee shottie of brewster again for thursday- and i never thought i'd say that!

He had to collect about one cross and that was it. Was hoping to see de visscher and some other first teamers, but it would have made the game a no contest. Derek young was about as 'good' as i remembered I found it very difficult not to shout abuse at him! Especially after his post aberdeen comments/actions.

Thought Daal was not too bad. Would have liked to see him get a better run for the team and was sorry to see him go. To get back on-topic though I thought someone was taking the piss when i saw that first of all. Then checked the club website to make sure, then laughed, and after a couple of days i almsot feel like crying. Especially after reading an interview with him on the EE website it got me back to thinking about how he always went on about how he hoped he'd get a couple of get of goals and go on from there. For *HOW* many fucking seasons did he trot that shite out? And *HOW* many goals did he get? FFS.........I despair.

I sincerely hope we have added a %age for any future transfer, cos if he cuts it down there, the next fee for him will be a lot more than million. i'm still devastated he's one, but glad he went south to where he will hopefully shine and get into the scotland set up. Shame we didn't get to wish him all the best at the end of a game. Hopefully he'll be up for the scotland v. South Africa match that's been mooted for pittodrie though.

We could certainly do a lot worse than check if he'd be interested.And we certainly need to bolster the midfield.

It's sad, but it proabably was. Dean Windass was one of the last i could think of, punted for 350k to oxford utd wasn't it? Who then sold him on for a mill or so to bradford. But hignett was about 700k wasn't he?, and probably more recent too- my memory's not getting any better as i get older- definitely more haze and uncertainty about when things were. Ageing is bad for the brain- definitely too many facts/memories pushing other ones out these days!

Did we not just hand Chic mclelland his jotters? I assume that, and getting back len taylor to head youth development are meant to try and bring things on a bit. It is a worry though, our best young players all disappear for nowt a la mcnaughton thanks to monsieur bosman. Or ones who do have some promise seem to think they are the absolute business before they have proven anything and slip back.

I'd be very glad if we could start to get something for players that leave instead of them just heading off into the wide blue yonder. Hopefully, an improved perception of the club will help to do that. I fail to remember the last player we got any serious money for- hell even a 100k or so would do these days! At least we got 40k(?) for stewart, i'd have probably paid them to take him from us! 

How much of all this is smoke and mirrors though? Jimmy's transfer dealings and interviews about them always leave me a wee bit bemused though.

This time next year it'll be the 25th anniversary of that very day. Wonder if the club'll organise something for it?

I'm not happy about this at all. It makes a farce of it, especially since conroy was apparently fourth official today, but he's been moved elsewhere and we now have the recently-done (6pts& a fine) speedster brian winter. So how can the ref who was abused be moved while the person who has been banned can play against the team he was playing against when it all happened? Farcical.
