  1. Was at Glasgow Green to see Radiohead last night.

Good times. Great performance from Abingdon's finest yet again and decent set up. Hopefully a festival with a future. Only downside was the 3.8% carlsberg on offer  :-\

  2. Radcliffe and Maconie's 6music show was broadcast from the British Music Experience in Liverpool last week, Thursday I think. They had a few Merseyside musicians on talking including James Skelly from the Coral, She Drew The Gun, Mick Head from Shack and a fantastic set from OMD. They played Electricity. It was sublime.

  3. Stone  Roses at Hampden tomorrow. Probably their last gig if rumours are to be believed. Only got into them mid '90s so never thought I'd get to see them. Chuffed they reformed, even if it was for the wrong reasons. Tomorrow will be the fifth time seeing them so can't grumble at that.

  4. Haven't really paid much attention to this due to all the goings on at AB24 but it'll be a welcome departure from all the doom and gloom.

Well, until the game starts that is.

Love to think we'd get something out of it but can't really see it.

  5.

Second season there they will have invested more in better players and by mid season they may look to put him out on loan somewhere but by then he will be pushing 32....would he really be that attractive to us by then?

Depends on how we react to him moving. If we manage to move on after Jonny we'll have cracked it. I have my doubts. What a player he's been. So many good memories. Difficult to grudge him his move.

  6. Ach well. It's been going to happen for a while.

Just hope the guys who were announced as leaving yesterday are the last ones to leave this summer. Aye, wishful thinking.

  7. I'm the same as Ten Caat about Jonny. He has been a fantastic player for us. There are so many great memories. He really gives his all and he can't be grudged a decent pay day. Would rather it was in the Championship and in a team where he plays every week. If it's the end for Jonny best of luck to him.

  8. Don't think it would look too great for him either but his stock would still be very high.

If he left for England and it went pear shaped he could still have his pick of jobs in Scotland if there was nothing else available down South.

  9. Heartbroken but so proud of the team today.

We gave our all. Wasn't to be.

As others have said, taking off Niall was a mistake. He's a great out ball and was always good at holding play up and bringing others into play. Really hope it's not the end of an era as this team is going places.

  10. Don't think he'll get bigger than Sunderland. The EPL clubs are all obsessed with foreign coaches. Thon boy at Watford who has just been canned after a season is an example. If Sunderland are serious about getting back up it could be a decent gig. Big 'if' though. He will go sooner rather than later.

I'd also go for Tommy Wright.
