  1. First episode of the Grand Tour was pretty decent.

The second episode (apart from the Aston Martin) was a shocker though. A million miles away from their Top Gear hey day.

Have nae seen it yet, Going to it tomorrow night.
  2. Gran Canaria for me. 2 weeks in the sun hopefully. £1200 for 4 of us flying fae Leeds Bradford.

Same holiday same dates from Glasgow Nearly £2100  :o

    Hopefully Fuerteventura October time too.

Already planning 2018 !! Mexico Pacific coast

  3. Just watched it, pretty decent i must say. That McLaren P1 looks amazing, liked Clarkson almost shitting his pants at the end of the drag race, real terror in his face !!!  Seem's a lot more carefree than Top Gear was.

Anyone who hasn't got Amazon prime or a funcy Firestick can watch it here http://tinyurl.com/hp58g6e

Remember to have Adblockplus & Admuncher installed and running before hand.

  4. Oh aye, I know.  As I've said previously, I will try to avoid the game although colleagues at work have asked to watch it with me...

I fear it, but given how 2016 has gone, stranger and illogical things have happened.

We drew with Lithuania AT HOME and lost 3-0 to the mighty Slovakia, enough said

  5. There is a squad from work going to the pub to watch the game.

Me?? I'm staying in and watching a re run of Watercolour challenge.

Seriuosly, I will watch the game, but i know we are going to get well and truly pumped 5 or 6 - nil

I will be putting England onto win -3.5 goals

  6. I don't kow who we could get to replce McInnes?

Tommy Wright would be close to the top of any list, works wonders with a bag of washers at the farmers.

Derek Adams would no doubt be mentioned again, he is doing well at Plymouth tbf.

Paul Sheerin? Done well with thw youn eens,  is he ready for the step up??

  7. I don't watch much EPL these days tbh, don't watch much SPL either, unless we are on. I tend to watch "lesser" games these days. BBC Alba games on a Saturday are worth a watch, just to laugh at the PJM's if nothing else, lower league English football, to see if u can spot a gem for Deek ?.

I must admit I quite like watching Bundesliga, always great atmosphere at games.

I would love to be able to go to Dons games as regular as I used to, but kids "activities" on Saturday mornings have seen to that. Oban is 2.5 hrs from any SPL ground apart from McDairmid, so tend to watch most games via PC when available.

  8. Made myself a Shepherds pie on Sunday.  Temperatures been dropping and was a perfect meal post cycle!

Served with a few steamed veg. Hit the spot right enough  8)

Looks good min. Lasagne for me last night, with home grown beetroot, some salad & garlic bread on the side.

It's bloody cold here today, French Onion soup and mare garlic bread tonight i think.

  9. Last week, Me & the 2 lads headed up to The Burn O Vat.

Walked up to and into The Vat, a really fantastic place. We decided to head on up the waterfall IMG_3310.JPG and walk up the gorge.

The walk up the gorge is pretty hard going with a 6yr old in tow, clambering over boulders, jumping over the burn and back again, climbing over fallen tree's and clambering over more boulders. You seem to walk round a corner and think you must be near the end, only to be met by more fallen tree's, piles of rock and loads of "Dubs".  You do eventually make it out though and onto an old Land Rover track. Follow this down to the right and on to the road, cross the road and follow the path alongside Loch Kinnord until you reach the path back that takes you back to the visitor centre. All in about 3.5 miles. A bit futher than the 2 miles i told a couple young ladies who decided they would do the gorge too. In their trainers !!!
