  1. At home games at least you don't hear 'One Derek McInnes' being sung much now and if it is it is very low key.

From what I see and hear I think most people are fed up of what is happening with the team over say the last 18 months.

I am also led to believe that Season Ticket sales have dropped a good deal this season and also the renewal of the DNS thing has plummeted also, make of that what you will.

I renewed my ST, but I admit to not looking forward to this season and not even bothering going on Thursday night.

I was going to go Thursday night, leave work early, 200mile drive up, watch game, food, 200mile back hame, get in around 2am and get up for work 6am Friday. But after that absolute pish on Sunday, I think i will just stay at home and watch on RedTV.

  2. Well that was a good spot for parking.

Off at 1A, back up under motorway heading towards Hampden area, wee side road on right hand side.

Would have been an easy getting way too as I was heading West and no queue heading that way if it had not been for two numpties i was giving a lift too getting lost

  3. What pubs are everyone heading to? I want to watch the Hearts/Celtic game but fancy a pre-match bounce too.

Old Quarry Bar, Rutherglen. Oh no haud on.. on second thoughts maybe not the best place to visit given our opponents and the charity box at the door for The Protestant boys march.  Had the misfortune of picking up Scotland tickets in there once. Hun / Sevco shitehole, walked in and thought Oh no, only for my lad to announce "Dad you hate Rangers"
  4. McInnes said on REDTV that Hoban is out for a month! McKenna also at the very least a month, Reynolds long term and still no Logan for the next 2 games. Can't see anything other than a back 4 of Ball Devlin Considine Shinnie.

Harrington at RB instead of Ball. Play Ball in a position he knows i.e DM

  5. I think he is hitting his putts too hard at times, so, yes, i suppose, his pace is out for certain putts.

Putting, IMO, is all about confidence, feel & repetition.

He is having to force his game, trying to kill it off the tee and racing putts.  He is an unbelievable talent, but,

perhaps, needs to have a rethink on his general approach ?

  6.   Left a cool Aberdeen yesterday morning for a trip to Dornie to bag a couple more Munros.Got there with temps at 28oC(bad enough),but also surrounded by a plague of clegs rather than midges.

Didnt take long to decide not to bother. On the way back though, had a nip up Bennachie, where Ive never actually been on the true summit, and I think also a lot of other folks who think the 'Mither tap' is.

Easiest(and best) route is to park at the 'Back o' Bennachie'(..far the Gadie rins) car park, between Oyne and Insch.Around an hour up,hour down for most folk

At the top of the car park, there is a board showing where Oxen Craig, the actual summit is,and you get to it by following the 'Mither Tap' trail...just to confuse

Good paths all the way.The signs dont tell you when you have reached Oxen Craig, the summit. You could believe its the first one the path takes you to as you come out of the woods, but its the second summit behind that,

Lang time since i have been up Mither Tap, Dinna think i have ever made it to Oxen Crag?

  7. His distance control has not been the best !!

I still think he is putting too hard, trying to take break out of putts, missing some and leaving 5-6ft + back. Best putters IMO were always die in putters. Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw spring to mind.

  8. Sadowitz, just be on time !!

I seen him once and I was late, fortunately he was in mid joke. Un luckly for the two who came in after me he had just finished. "right ya fuckers, up on to the stage" He then spent the next 10 mins taking the piss out of them with some unbelievable magic and some well dodgy jokes.

  9. Rory McIlroy.

In my opinion, he is trying to hard.  He is trying to murder every tee shot 400 yds and his putting is, well, very average and hitting putts too hard. I think he needs to go to a centre shafted putter to sort out his wayward putts and go cak handed to get putter through on line.

Ballater 36er is a great day out. Havn't played there for a while though, how is it after the flood? Braemar 36er, if they still do it, is a fine day too.
