I was pretty much the only one of my mates who was cutting him some slack, rest of them had made up their minds that he was hopeless.

My argument on one occasion was "he can't be all that bad, the guy has a Leagues winners medal!" mate replied with "well, judging by the way he runs and kicks a ba' he must keep the fucking thing inside his boot!" 

Ach partick will do them 3-1 then we will exact our revenge for THAT game.

I don't know if any of you listened to Levein's interview after the last game when he was asked if they'd done anything special in their preparation for that game, he replied that they had analysed the dhims home game against Anderlecht and came to the conclusion that they would approach their game with the same level of intensity.

We're all saying it... the dhims don't like it when you run at them, their defence is pretty poor really, they just need to be forced into the mistakes.

That last home game against them still rankles. Didn't even threaten them in their own half then let them pick their passes once they got to the half way line.

If DM approaches this weekends game in anything other than all out attack mode he'd better be prepared for some serious flak!

That was some season that! Probably the one season that i remember a few specifics about.

Me and some mates wanted to go to Cyprus to see us play Famagusta but the travel agent said he couldn't allow us to go because of civil unrest at the time (or something like that)... so we went to Shagluf instead. That's where i was when we lost 5-0 to St J. Will never forget walking into the Mucky Duck (Scottish pub where they were broadcasting the fitba) and as asking what the score with the Dons was. Was told it was 4-0 Saints at that time, didn't believe the guy as that scoreline was very unlikely, then the radio went mental saying 'it's now 5 nil to St J blah blah...'

The 4-1 game against Skittery Farts... had been at a rave on the Friday night, bought tickets for the train to Edinburgh, sat in the train station bar drinking snake bites until the train was gone and we missed it. Managed to get our money back from the lassie at the ticket office cos we claimed the train left early. Spent that money at the stripper above the New Swan.

St J at home where we expected to take 5 off them... damp squib! 2-1 i seem to remember, some boy Lindsey playing in goals for them.

Was at Love Street for Jazzers goal, don't recall a great deal due to excessive alcohol consumption.

St J's again, penultimate game of the season. Beating the Saints was fair enough but hearing the huns had been done 3-0 to put us top of the table was amazing and continued chanting Dougie Arnotts name well into the evening.

iBrokes last game of the season. Went there hoping to buy a ticket. There was no chance of getting one. Some of my mates already had so went into the stadium leaving me and one other mate to our own devices. I suddenly found myself up against the railings next to the road and i realised i was surrounded by a load of big guys with English accents. Jumped the fence pronto and fooked off. Ended up with my mate sitting on the Abtrust bus (team sponsors at the time) ad listening to the match on the bus's radio. Could actually see in the corner of the stadium at that time and i could see the horrible bastards celebrating in the stands.

Was that the season we beat celtic 3-0 at darkheid? Mason, Connor and Gillhaus scorers? No.9,10 and 11. Was there too but unfortunately my celebrations after the 2nd were too much for Galsgows finest and i had to leave my position at the front of the terracing.

I'm pretty confused!

Folk were saying that TRFC2012  wouldn't make a move unless they knew he would accept... does this mean that they were wrong and there had been no contact prior to today / yesterday?

Also, did DM actually get as far as talking to them or did Milne by blocking the hun from speaking to him force DM into accepting he had a contract that he had to honour?

The consensus seems to be that DM told them that he wants to stay with us, but is that the right story or just the final outcome of what's gone on? 

 

Bottom line regarding the manager and Rangers is that he hasn’t said he doesn’t want the rangers job, and that he’s staying. He’s chosen his words carefully about being committed but hasn’t said he’s definitely staying. If he’d publically said that it clears it all up. The players are clearly unsettled, rumors all over the place, definitely affecting the team.

You're right, the closest he's come to saying he doesn't want the job was when he said "i see my future at Aberdeen"... but even that is a nothing statement as tomorrow is in the future (just in case you didn't know  ) and even then he only made that statement after Milne made his about DM staying.

I'm beyond annoyed and i'm putting it 99% down to the weegia! McInnes better go now as the situation is fucked now! Can't believe we've been overtaken by the vermin. Apparently we'd be 7th in a 'form league' since the clown got his jotters!

Although i only had the 'pleasure' of following the game on twitter i seen enough in small video clips to see that he was nervous as fuck! Apparently he jogged to the bench from the tunnel just before kick off, which i don't recall him doing before.

That aside, as Bobby says, this team is only going in one direction. I can't believe we've in second place for as long as we have done.

The capitulations every time we have a 'big game' on our hands is gut wrenching. This is one season too many for DM, he's done very well in his time here but it's starting to fall apart.

Special mention to the SMSM, well done you agenda driven pricks! It's looks like you've all got what you wanted, i just hope for your sake he's an absolute disaster, and a flop of the highest order at sevco! I've never in all my days seen anything like the carry on caused by you arrogant arseholes like we've had in the last 5+ weeks! Go fuck yourselves!

Couple of weeks ago brought in Sadio Mane, wasn't scoring so swapped him out for Hazard last midweek. Hazard doesn't play but Mane wracks up the points, so.... swap out Hazard and bring in Salah, Hazard scores 2 and Salah doesn't score for the first time in ages.  Similar happened earlier in the season with Kane, swapping him back and fore for Aguero, always to the detriment to my team. It's getting me down.

Well i'm fucking raging... and i didn't even see the game!

I'm working midnight to midday and woke myself up early to follow online. As soon as i saw the line up i knew... i just. fucking. knew. DM had shat it already! Seems like the same formation employed against the dhims last month... that worked a fucking treat didn't it?!

WTF was his game plan? Was there one? If there was it was dog shit! Just like his 'game plans' every time we have a big game on our hands! His record in important (i know they're all important, but...) games is fucking atrocious!

A lot of our fans were delighted with the blurb that came out the club at the end of last week, well DM has made an absolute mockery of them who celebrated his apparent allegiance to us.

And WTF is Tony Doc doing? Surely he can't be saying, "aye Del min, that line up and formation has winner written all over it!"? To a man i bet every Dons fan shuddered when they saw that line up!

I'm very grateful to DM for steering our club away from where we were under the previous pair of ball bags but we're on the slide under him imo. 

I know it was Thompson who mades those decisions yesterday but Sinclairs part was fucking disgraceful.

If it had been the other way around the dhims would be hounding said player and calling for retrospective action against him... which they'd probably fooking get! I take it there's been no such thing in the weegia at home?

Rooney seems to be marmite with our support. Personally, i like him but i always want more from him. I know people point out his goal scoring stats and ask what more does he have to do etc, but when you're watching him it's pretty frustrating to be fair. I don't need to point out his deficiencies, everyone can see them.

DM seems to have tried to replace him every year for about 3 years now but he's seen most of them off.

I'm a fan of Moult, who wouldn't be, and i hope DM makes a big effort to get him in in Jan and Rooney may well be the one used when trying to temp M/well into a deal. He'd obviously leave with everyones best wishes if it did happen. If we don't get Moult tho i'd keep him.

Never heard that version to be honest. The one i've heard involves fucking the pope and the Vatican.

Actually, i want to add Tommy Wright, Stockley and Craig Fucking Hignett.

I was actually meaning, which players have you initially likes but then turned against before they've even left the club.

But just to add to the Stevie Wright subject... i remember thinking how the fuck we'd ever replace Leighton in goals and then along came Theo, same rules apply for McKimmie! Wright was great for us imo.

Is there any Dons players who you've really liked but ended up hating (perhaps too strong) and hoping for them to leave?

I saw Seabass mention Zander Diamond (with what seemed like affection) in another thread and i thought 'i can't stand that cunt' but then remembered the day when i told my mates that if we had 11 Zander Diamonds we'd be in a much better position. This was in the darkest, direst of days mind. By the time he left i was calling him for everything, useless Plug look-a-like cart horse!

Ryan Jack is the same. I remember bigging him up on AbMad declaring him to be our new Simmie but for at least the last 2 seasons i wanted him to GTF.

That's it i think, the rest i've either never liked from the start or always liked them.
