the mckenna effect

the dressing room is toxic and the manager has limited man management skills .. ?

Personally I think it's unfair to blame the manager being a clueless cunt on McKenna and his spastic agent without a shred of evidence.

If the McKenna situation has caused any unrest in the dressing room that then is down to McKenna and agent making themselves look like a couple of prize plums.

Aberdeen however should have taken the Aston Villa offer back in January as at the moment, we would be lucky if anyone returns with even £3million for him in January.

Villa offer was a year ago. And was a 6 month initial loan with a vague clause in it which might have resulted in a £6million deal come the January. But suspect also had a "return to sender" clause  if he turned out to be shyte.

Essentially they tried to get him on a 6 month trial for free.

But he certainly hasn't developed much if any in the past 12 months. He has cemented himself as first pick for Scotland but that is more to do with the lack of any great competition for the place rather than any great form McKenna has shown. If Celtic offered £5million cash the I think we should snap it up. But I suspect if they do come back in it would likely be £3million plus Hendry and Hayes. And we should tell them to fuck right off with that

We should always tell Celtic to fuck right off.

I have many gripes against McInnes, but I do think he is close to the players and I doubt there is a dressing room revolt.

That said maybe DM has just been caught with Big Ash's Mrs again.  :D

Think the dressing room is just fine and DM has a strong relationship with the players. That’s part of the problem, he’s too close and they probably don’t ‘fear’ him.
