It sounds like the Beeb are going to be broadcasting from a green screen in Salford, well I have to say ITV have knocked it out of the park with their studio location overlooking Lower Manhattan! Cracking spot.

Just a shame Gary Neville is there to spoil it. 
 

Also, the Rest is Football are doing a daily show on Netflix from what looks like central New York. Their set looks like they are doing a cooking show on Channel 4 on a Sunday morning !

Good on the BBC for not wasting money on flying everyone out to North America.

It's either a cost saving exercise, or the USA won't let some of them into the country.

It was great to see an interview with Geoff Hurst about 1966 in the build up to Mexico v South Africa. Just what we all wanted!

What on earth was going on after the usual squad did their post-match bit after the opening game? The man v food guy pretending to be excited about Canada and his co couch occupier calling the Sweden coach Gareth Southgate?!
