swaddon Posted Saturday at 15:15 Report Posted Saturday at 15:15 It's the final 3pm on a Saturday game for the Dons this season as the Pikey Jute Minks make their way up the road to feel the full force of the resurgent AFC. It takes place on Saturday 9th May. Dundee United are playing for the "finishing above Aberdeen" trophy, yet another makey-up trophy to put with their "Fair Play" cup, the "We Beat Barcelona Once" shield and the various runner-up trophies that bear out their laughable "honours" list. I fancy a 2-0 win for the home side, Milanovic to score both. Quote
Panda Posted Saturday at 15:40 Report Posted Saturday at 15:40 Kilmarnock currently giving Dundee United the runaround. As it stands (3-0), the goal difference between us and United is five goals, and we're six points behind, so a win and it's very much on to finish above them. That, of course, is a very small prize. But it is worth about £80,000, which would give us Geiger for about two weeks next season... Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted Saturday at 21:59 Report Posted Saturday at 21:59 I'd forgive a lot of this seasons ills, if we can send them back down the road to their caravans, with zero points. I hate this lot and their very deluded fans with a passion. It's their big game too and I know it won't be easy, but beating them is worth the price of a season ticket alone. 1 Quote
Ajja Posted Saturday at 22:45 Report Posted Saturday at 22:45 Do we have to invade a pitch or something if we finish above them? Quote

I've not been to the Stephen Robinson era yet (last game was the Dunfermline shambles). Looked at the trains, and them being over £60 return - pushing £70 in some cases - is a shambles. Quote
Panda Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago As an aside, amazing really that despite this season, the lack of general excitement around the managerial appointment, there being very few players you are particularly drawn to see, and having very little to play for, that we're heading towards another sell out (or close to it). Only seven sections left, four of which are near enough sold out (two of the sections have only two seats left). Quote

As someone who watches from afar, the fan support has been outstanding the last couple of seasons from what I see. Seeing sellouts at home and the numbers that travel, plus the reaction after games when we have won, when you hear a manager or player comment on the amazing support, it’s not just them saying that, it’s a definite thing. def need rewarded with a winning team! 1 Quote

That’s the beauty of a Club50 railcard. £15 to buy and they do flat fare deals. Travel anywhere in Scotland for £19 return. They are doing one from tomorrow for next 6 weeks. 1 Quote
