swaddon Posted Sunday at 08:10 Report Posted Sunday at 08:10 Friday night football fun for the Dons this week as they head down to Lothian to take on Livingston. The action begins at 7:45 pm. I think that Livi's tails will be in the air after their win on Saturday and they still have a chance of staying up. So I fancy a 2-2 draw. Quote
Panda Posted Sunday at 21:41 Report Posted Sunday at 21:41 I'd like to think after two wins in a row, the confidence will rise and we'll skelp them. But I'm not sure we have that in us (although, the last time we did do that, it was against Livingston). Would be nice to just get through this split unbeaten, if anything to just lift the pressure on Robinson, who hasn't been cut much slack at all since arriving. 1 Quote
Ajja Posted Sunday at 22:28 Report Posted Sunday at 22:28 (edited) Livi have to win all their games and hope Killie lose all theirs so not sure they’ll believe they have something to fight for. Only lost 2 in their last 8 so this game won’t be easy and let’s not forget how intolerably shit we’ve been away from home recently. Heading to the bright lights of West Lothian for some fun times and less fun football I suspect. 0-0 with nothing to celebrate but survival. Whoop whoop. Edited Sunday at 22:29 by Ajja Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted Monday at 05:50 Report Posted Monday at 05:50 Was supposed to be going down for this one, but being on the Friday night scuppered that. Hopefully get the win and keep the momentum going. Quote
Blow.Up.Sheep Posted Monday at 13:02 Report Posted Monday at 13:02 The dandies will be looking to build on our two wins on the trot and our two back to back clean sheets. It's not going to be pretty spectacle or a great advert for our league but I would take winning ugly 1-0 everyday of the week and I think that is what we will do on Friday with Kevin Nisbet adding to his tally. COYR just fkn win it 0-1 will do just fine Quote
Ajja Posted Monday at 17:18 Report Posted Monday at 17:18 (edited) Is it wrong that I’ve moved into new territory on this. Last couple of games have been solidly in the ‘just win in any way possible’ territory. The jeopardy has been to heavy to expect anything else. I’m now shifting gear into the ‘it’s almost implausible for us to blow it now’ zone. Ergo, I want a swashbuckling display. Less than 4 goals will be a disappointment. Maybe it’s because I’m attending in-person and feel I’m due some entertainment from these slackers. Edited Monday at 17:18 by Ajja Quote

Just hoping it’s more lack of confidence and familiarity with system and each other that’s our biggest hinderence rather than just being shit but you are probably right. Quote
manc_don Posted Tuesday at 18:06 Report Posted Tuesday at 18:06 Love the optimism (or is it blind?), Ajja, but think you were closer to the reality before. There is no doubt the fans deserve entertaining after the shit show of this season, but that can wait. Priorities first. They’re fighting for a chance of survival so it won’t be pretty. Quote
Ajja Posted Tuesday at 18:13 Report Posted Tuesday at 18:13 Livi have to win. They have to come out and play. Hopefully that makes a difference. Gives us more space in behind that we might otherwise be afforded by these Designer Outlet shagging bastards. Quote
GASC1980 Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago For anyone planning on going to the bar at the ground on Friday, it's a no no. Apparently hosting a private function. Quote
Ajja Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Anyone been to the 6 Buds Beerhouse near the ground? Does it get rammed? Quote
Radiored Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Livingston is a shithole full of arseholes .... buy some cans/bottles tae drink on the journey ... and some more tae enjoy on the way home. Do not contribute to their economy in any way other than the ticket price tae their 'Lego' stadium. .. fuck it ... bring yer own half time pie an' bring some hot bovril in a flask .... even if ye hae tae splash oot on a good flask! It's nae far awa, so it should be perfectly feasible tae get yer supplies afore ye leave, and hae the means tae keep yer beer cauld enough, an' yer pie/braddie/rowies/soup/bovril hot enough til half time an' beyond. Primarily tho ... let's relegate the fuckers! 1 Quote

Absolutely spot on 100% pal. These 5 bottom 6 post split games are all about just ensuring we stay up and avoiding the play off spot. That would have been the priority handed out to Robinson when he was offered the job. Do the first requirement, then we can look ahead to next season. sticking with a pretty ugly game and a 0-1 win for the dandies (Nisbet) Quote
Ajja Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Yup. Reckon we’ll see some experimenting with systems and trying players out in last few games if we get 3 points here. Probably back to 4 defenders and try out a bit of width. Quote
