Livingston v Aberdeen

Friday night football fun for the Dons this week as they head down to Lothian to take on Livingston. The action begins at 7:45 pm.

I think that Livi's tails will be in the air after their win on Saturday and they still have a chance of staying up. So I fancy a 2-2 draw.

I'd like to think after two wins in a row, the confidence will rise and we'll skelp them.

But I'm not sure we have that in us (although, the last time we did do that, it was against Livingston).

Would be nice to just get through this split unbeaten, if anything to just lift the pressure on Robinson, who hasn't been cut much slack at all since arriving.

Livi have to win all their games and hope Killie lose all theirs so not sure they’ll believe they have something to fight for. Only lost 2 in their last 8 so this game won’t be easy and let’s not forget how intolerably shit we’ve been away from home recently. Heading to the bright lights of West Lothian for some fun times and less fun football I suspect. 0-0 with nothing to celebrate but survival. Whoop whoop.

Was supposed to be going down for this one, but being on the Friday night scuppered that. 

Hopefully get the win and keep the momentum going.

The dandies will be looking to build on our two wins on the trot and our two back to back clean sheets.

It's not going to be pretty spectacle or a great advert for our league but I would take winning ugly 1-0 everyday of the week and I think that is what we will do on Friday with Kevin Nisbet adding to his tally.

Is it wrong that I’ve moved into new territory on this. Last couple of games have been solidly in the ‘just win in any way possible’ territory. The jeopardy has been to heavy to expect anything else. 
 

I’m now shifting gear into the ‘it’s almost implausible for us to blow it now’ zone. Ergo, I want a swashbuckling display. Less than 4 goals will be a disappointment. Maybe it’s because I’m attending in-person and feel I’m due some entertainment from these slackers.

Just hoping it’s more lack of confidence and familiarity with system and each other that’s our biggest hinderence rather than just being shit but you are probably right.
