  1. That's not straight people being vilified, that's rapists being vilified.

Quite surprised at the level of homophobia on this thread.

With the possibility I am wrong in speaking for someone else, I took their comment as being sarcastic, hence my equally sarcastic reply.

I agree, there is a high level of homophobia in this thread, which I disagree strongly with. It does, however, seem to reflect the levels present across a lot of football supporters - this could explain why it is behind many sports in having openly gay players / officials etc.

  2. my personal views on this will be kept..er personal.

But i am sick n tired of the world embracing " gayness" especially when people that are straight are vilified nowadays. seems everywhere you go its super nice to meet you. attitude.

If their is any gay people, keep it to yourself!

Could you give us some examples of where straight people are vilified nowadays?

  3. But McInnes has never had any intention of "not going". Why would we expect him to? It's this bit I don't understand. Why do Aberdeen fans expect McInnes not to be interested in hearing what is on offer? Moreover, why should he be forced - by media - to answer a question that has not yet been posed?

This amazes me with fitba fans all the time - the inability to separate their own tribal loyalties from the professional and financial needs of players and managers.

Nobody in their right mind would turn down a job offer until they've heard all the terms.

  4. I'm a massive Thrash geek. Apart from the Big 4, I'm also a fan of Suicidal Tendencies, Overkill, Sepultura, Vektor, Exodus, Lich King, Amon Amarth (I could go on for ages like!)

Having emigrated to Glasgow from The Deen a decade ago I get the opportunity to see a load of these bands without having to travel too far. Best gig was Anthrax playing at The Cathouse last November - seeing them play in such a small venue was something special. Have high hopes for the new Metallica album, but then again I had high hopes before they released Load. And St. Anger. And fucking Lulu.

  5. I've been trying to work out why Broon brought Fallon on and for the life of me I can't. At no time this season has the pairing of him and Vernon really clicked, and he has only really been effective when we're playing route one stuff. Yesterday in the second half I thought that we were playing some proper football (well at least trying to) and all he did was get in the way. I think it was an ideal game for Chalali or Uchechi to run at their defence as we already had them on the ropes.
