  2. MacKenzie if fit needs to play so we have a proper LB that can defend. Does anyone know anything about his injury??? presume he is injured and not just out of favour.

Also, can see BR given his young boys more of a chance if the current crop doesn't show him what he wants to see.

  3. Barron needs benched. Last 3 out of 4 goals, he's lost his man and giving too much space for them to shoot.

Drop Barron, put MacKenzie on and have either Hayes or Coulson left mid.

McRorie was constantly shouting at Richardson to get into a better position. RB is a major worry!!

Grumpy this morning after that!!!...shame was shaping up to be a fantastic victory.

Genuinely can't remember the last time I was at a game we won 3-0 so I'll take that.

Not a vintage performance but had a friendly feel to it - they knew the group  was won as soon as the penalty went in, Raith had a few half chances but generally offered little, and I think there was one eye on Celtic.

Might sound and odd thing to say, but least seven in the starting line-up have never played Celtic away before, 60,000 on their flag day, huge game. I think it's hard to not be thinking about that and wanting to get through the 90 minutes without an injury. Until they get there of course and realise Celtic's famous atmosphere is only reserved for the Champions League.

I think we'll find the intensity will be a lot higher this weekend. It'll have to be.

I feel with the players brought in lately, they will be able to lift and match the intensity. Seems a very different group of characters to that of last year.

Just need to make sure Duk stays of the rowies and sheds some of that extra weight he's arrived with. His turn of pace could open things up with Celtic playing a high line.

So at the moment, for the opening league game v Celtic, this could be our line-up.

Mjovski can play striker, N10 or winger. I'm simply guessing where he'll play just now as haven't seen him in the red shirt obviously.

Looking at that, we still need another centre half as when Scales is missing we have no other LCB and could go into the Celtic game with no back-up.

In general the squad still needs a bit more competition for places, especially on the left side. McGrath, Ronan, another striker and another defender and I'd be confident of a decent season.

If that's our first XI, and they stay fit (and making a presumption Ramirez stays), then I wouldn't be too upset. Reckon that side is beating Celtic 2-0.

Can't see Vinny being left on he bench in favor of Watkins, think if they were switched out that would be more realistic.

£4.5m plus £3m of potential add-ons plus a 20% sell-on clause according to BBC. If true, I think that’s a very good deal for us, especially considering his shit form since coming back from injury. Still has a medical to pass though.

Hopefully now we can kick on and bring new players in!!!

  8. So it really seems like we're waiting for Liverpool deal for Ramsey to go through before we put pen to paper for anyone else....the silence deafening!!
3 players have been into C-Park during the off season so far and we've signed a guy that hasn't (Ramadani), looking for to the 16th when window official opens.

It's often said it takes a manager 3 windows to get his own team on the park. You don't normally need at least ten in though so we could see a Goodwin team after one window potentially, defo 2.  The downside to that is we could have a patchy start to the season with so many new faces having to gel. We need to get a lot business done as early as possible to try and counter this but that's easier said than done.

Exactly...for me its the team gelling that is more important, this doesn't happen overnight sadly.
