Hold on to your hats (anyone else seen the stuff circulating this afternoon......clue- involves the son of the owner of Atlanta Falcons?)
Somebody Blank?
Blankety?
-
Agree with the above. And we need to give Stevie May a decent shot at it. Looked semi decent in the early part of last season, then the assault by The Rat fucked the rest of his season
-
A loan from fuckin Rotherham, how low can we go?
Dominic Ball is an atrocious footballer.
Who are you looking at AFC signing, old timer?
-
Any mention of the fee for Rooney?
At least we won't be facing him in the SPFL as you know he'd score v us.
If it's £250k then I suppose it softens the blow.
Never saw Moult as his replacement as he seems quite similar to May, in that they both like to run in behind the opposition defence. Any replacement should ideally have pace to burn alongside that goalscoring instinct.
-
Rather have Shankland back, I think.
Shankland is Tynecastle bound, apparently
-
Think the media played a huge part in it. Every fucker that they could track down was wheeled out singing his praises and turned his head. Now i have no proof of this but i firmly believe that this wasn't his preferred time i.e he may well prefer it was in future as he isnt daft and will know he is on a hiding to nothing. If he gets a 3 1/2 year contract i would be astounded if he saw it through. Thats not sour grapes on my behalf just reality.
Anyway Derek who ?
Fuck him. Hun cunt.
So, you reckon he didn't want to go at this juncture, but got his ego expanded by all the Hun apologists in the wegia?
Yeah, could buy that. Would explain a lot

What has changed for DM in 6 weeks? Why would he change for the positive? He’s prob always been interested. Said from day one it’s a bigger club, more fans, training facilities, transfer money etc. Don’t understand why it has taken so long for the scum. Despise Rangers more by the day and this has done nothing but hurt AFC.
1) Coming to an agreement with DM's wages
2) Coming to an agreement with DM's compensation
Looks like the latter may not happen, however, and he'll walk
See you in court then, Delboy, you plonker

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Don't for one second believe that six weeks ago McInnes sat there thinking i want the Rangers job at this moment in time.
Well, again, with the benefit of hindsight, I'm not so sure about that.
An agent working for Sevco will have contacted DM's agent, possibly even before Pedro peddled off, so he'll have had a very good idea very early on that they wanted him.
why do that illogical press conference saying he saw his future here? Bollocks.
Like Ryan Jack, DM could have departed AFC so much more gracefully
-
Derek McInnes WILL NOT be the next Sevco manager
Fraid not.
-
The worry for me is that DM will have known that Taylor was leaving months ago; will have known about Plan A's injury 7 weeks ago (Mikey Devlin) so looks like we have no Plan B at all, hence we are fucking about trailing 2nd rate Euro stoppers
-
Also, Storey played out on the wing, is this where he's been playing pre-season? Impressed according to the guy who was there and had a decent cross on him. Have we had a winger in our squad without even realising it?
Aye, played on the wings at Arbroath on thursday. DM was doing his nut at him though, for his poor positioning, decision making, getting in Logan's way.
Most people seemed to think he played well that night as he layed on both 1st half goals, but overall? Not for me
-
Think it was an, erm, different kind of health issue that caused his demise at Rossco.
-
Did all seem a bit strange last thursday (for the BBC to report it as fact) as its not the normal way McInnes goes about his business which is normally radio silence then bang, announcement by the club

Back to odds on again with the bookies, Kevin Phillips drifted a bit

Yeah, It is true that they (Hearts) have not got much money but neither most clubs aside from Old Firm due to having 40k season ticket holders each.
We won't be spending transfer fees but can offer decent wages and Europa League football which they cannot.
Supposedly Hearts spent £200k on pitch relaying couple weeks ago.
Basically they have 8,000 fans putting in direct debits each month to the club of between whatever £10 a month up to some donators signing up for £1000's a month - Foundation of Hearts thing. That money is all guaranteed and secured by Budge who is a rich wifie and Chair.
They have put in place a coaching model with Levein at the top and it all filtering down to Cathro but its a shambles as Cathro is completely out of his depth. He should be in charge of football operations (Levein role) and an experienced man should be in charge.
The building work on the new stand is way ahead and on track but funding isn't and there is a bit of a panic due to a £1m shortfall. There is a hefty difference in finishing 5th and 2nd place. We get £2.4m and they (Hearts) will get 1.1m or something for finishing 5th.
Just this week lots of initiatives have been muted to raise the shortfall. They will sell off part of the old stand (seats, bricks, chairs, benches, dressing room memorabilia etc) and try to raise money that way.
They wanted to seel 16k season tickets but won't. I would doubt that they will sell out Tynecastle 20k every week. No chance. The 16k every week is a myth anyway - always gaps.
I would guess they have a lot of problems on their radar Hearts - masses of problems behind scenes football wise. The structure was a good concept but its not working.
Supposedly, Cathro has offered to resign a couple of times at meetings with the board but they are all 100% behind him.
Its not Cathro's fault. He was a assistant coach and offered a 3rd deal to be the manager on big money. He'll get sacked soon and go back to coaching but whoever put him in charge needs shot.
Not that I care - can't stand them as a club.
Why would any building contractor take on a project where 100% of the client money isn't in place before the work starts?
-
GMS would be a good replacement should Jonny leave.
No, he wouldn't.
All the skill in the world.
Heart the size of a grain of rice.
Balls even smaller.
A fraction of the player Jonny is
-
It would not surprise me if Logan had a release clause fitted in to his contract.
All makes sense now. How we've managed to hold on to these players for so long. Club strategy.
£800K and Hayes will be away too, similiar clause in his contract too
-
McGinn off to Leeds, according to folk on Twitter
-
I still reckon Stevie May is coming to Pittodrie.
A bid has been on the table for quite a whiley, that is clear. Looks like its a case of how much severance pay he can screw out of Sheffield Wednesday to agree his release, cos Wed obviously want him out, one way or another
-
Seems to be a lot of stuff flying around about AFC still being very keen on bringing in Stevie May, despite McInnes, for the 3rd time, saying after the match today there will be no more players coming in before tuesday.
And this after he brought a player in this morning!
He's a fibber!
-
Dinna think May is injured, he's just completely out of the 1st team picture.
-
Strange statement to release. I assume they are fishing for some more offers from other clubs now that they have an unhappy player.
Hibs have changed their tune from the weekend. Then, they said they would not sell Allan.
Now they are saying they won't sell Allan. To Sevco.
The Arabs seem confident tonight they have signed him
-
Travelling costs will be high this year as well.
£200K for the hire of the plane for this weeks game, according to the Pieman
-
Once again, a lack of flexibility in our line up. Same old players being flogged to buggery.
Steven McLean was the obvious threat, in terms of his hold up play and ability to rough up the oppistion centreal defence. Why not have Andy picking him up, or Taylor, with Reynolds at left back?
