  1. Listened to the full match on red tv today as i refuse to pay good money to watch barron mackie, what did strike me was that his name was barely mentioned once during the whole ninety minutes and people on here continue to support him.Our other strikers lee miller and chris mcguire did however contribute to the match with good hold up play and creating chances but not mackie

The guy is totally useless and i personally will never have a good word for him.

I see richard(cant pass) foster was completely left out the squad and calderwood is onto him i think which can only be a good thing for the team so one down and one to go.

  2. Ever had a look at AFC Chat?

I'm sure you will find like minded individuals there.

Richie Foran failed a medical at Aberdeen in the summer and Pasquanelli was as injury prone as Jamie Smith. As for Daal, Craig and Deuchar, you are being ridiculous. I suppose Prunty, Mike, D'Jaffo and Hinds were all better than Mackie too?

Aye, booing players on their every touch will really help the team. Fud.  ::)

No, the majority on here (not you included), are realistic. Yes Mackie may not be the greatest player, yes he may not be an out and out goalscorer but he will, more than likely, be at Aberdeen for the rest of his career. He's certainly not a world beater and not even the best player at Aberdeen but while he wears the Dons shirt, I will support the team and every player who wears the top.

Yeah you are probably right, mackie will probably be at pittodrie for the rest of his miserable career but the sensible fan wont pay money week in week out to watch a sub standard player

With a bit of luck he will get a bad injury and blunderwood will be forced to bring in someone who actually has an ounce of talent

  3. If you want to watch amateur players why not go follow a highland league team or maybe a third division team at best, too many guys on here are too ready to accept midiocrity or worse, mackie has had his chance and he is NOT good enough,he wouldnt get a start for any other spl team and while you guys continue to back this loser then blunderwood will continue to play him.

As i said in an earlier post maybe booing him at home games will be the only way to show blunderwood and the afc board that we wont accept this to$$er no more.

I know booing our own players is not the best thing to be doing for our team but for gods sake, how many more years are we going to have to put up with this so called striker? at yesterdays game he stood out as a daft wee school boy running about like a headless chicken with foster a close second.

Some guys willl reply and say well maybe he is the best we can get in the current climate, well i disagree!

Richie foran signed on a free for caley yesterday and he is better quality than mackie

dyron dahl who we released is better quality than mackie

Pasquanelli who we released was better quality than mackie

Steven craig who we released was better quality than mackie

And finally Kenny deuchar who hamilton signed on a free this week is far better quality than mackie.

So that leaves me thinking that calderwood is not good enough a manager despite his good record of top six finishes.

  4. I wouldnt go to a darren mackie testimonial if you actually paid me to go,yes he did score the winning goal in dnipro but thats what he is PAID to do.

I seriously cant understand the guys that come on here and back him up,are you watching the games?

Are you watching the terrible first touch

Are you watching the ratio of missed chance compared to goals? ie. last min against rangers and yesterday against falkirk

No you guys are watching the loser run,YEAH he can run about like a headless chicken but so can my 5 year old nephew.

    MACKIE AND FOSTER OUT NOW

  5. I wouldnt go to a darren mackie testimonial if you actually paid me to go,yes he did score the winning goal in dnipro but thats what he is PAID to do.

    MACKIE AND FOSTER OUT NOW

  6. Very very poor today but two players who stood out as "awful" were richard foster and darren mackie.Darren mackie just runs about and contributes nothing to the team, whenever he does get the ball his first touch is woeful and its just a shame that the best chances we have had in the last two games have fallen to this loser.I dont know if anyone has noticed this but ninety nine times out of a hundred when mackie is one on one with the opposition goalkeeper the keeper will make a save?

Season after season we get stuck with this guy up front and the bad news is calderwood rates him! so much that he is willing to offer him a new deal and a "testimonial"

Well i tell you what jimmy you are about to set a new record! the record for the lowest ever crowd at a testimonial because i dont know any fan who rates him enough to spend money on a pay day for him.

Its time the fans showed their dis-satisfaction at the constant selection of this so called striker and maybe booing him everytime he touches the ball would let jimmy know just how much we DONT want him wearing the red of aberdeen.

As for foster ? the guy has trouble passing to one of his own team mates so what more can i say about him

    MACKIE AND FOSTER OUT NOW.

  7. I agree with both of you, blunderwood focuses on the other teams tactics which ultimately stifles the game and makes for a very boring game(hence the dwindling home crowds)

He needs to stick to a settled team and play to OUR strengths but we all know its not going to happen,so what we need to go is show our disapproval towards the directors and willie miller at the home games and who knows in time we might just get rid of calderwood, mackie and foster.
