Spitting is considered assault if done on purpose; in the UK at least. Not least because of the possibility of transferring disease, for example hepatitis.

Perhaps Jim's simply decided he doesn't want to be a goalkeeping coach anymore...

I can't believe the club declined to take part in this.
This would more or less solve our problems with training facilities in an instant.
Looks like the one down at Toryglen which is an excellent facility.
Do not attempt a slide tackle at Toryglen.

I haven't. Can't guarantee that I'd be able to make it to the majority of games. Will try to get to as many home games as possibly, although probably more away games.
-
You saw Michael Hart in his home (nearly) town, during the summer holiday. OMGZ HEZ SININ FOR RAINJURS!!!
-
For a smaller club in the same league... £2m please.

At the moment we need defenders more than we need strikers. I'll not be happy if we spunk money away on a new striker when our only CB's are Zander and Considine.
First priority is to make sure the defence is as good as last year, then scoring goals, then improving the defence. That's the point I'm making.
-
I think that was a lot to do with Langfield having the season of his life because we lost some really basic goals.
Don't disagree the defence needs improving, but it shouldn't be given higher priority than scoring goals imo.

I know they're are some that don't rate him but I think he's a good player. Him, Kerr and McDonald could be great. My main worry is Hughes and McDonald seem to be more attacking players, with our dodgy defence can we afford to play with 5 attackers?
We had the 4th best defence in the previous season, but only the 6th best attack. Provided we can replace Severin and maybe even another couple of defenders, I'd say we were in good shape for a more attacking formation.

Fraser Fyvie has resisted the temptation to ruin his career down south or at the Old Firm and has signed a two year deal with the Dons. Boy's supposed to be an incredible talent.

I've never thought McGhee was the best man for the job, but now I'm desperate for him to sign and pump the LSC next season. That'd be brilliant.
-
Fair play, their youth team only did marginally better than ours in the league and youth cup this season. Still may be one or two talents in their.

Ryan Strachan released along with every other member of the Celtic U19 squad this week.

Of course, Aberdeen are the only team that can't bring through youth players.
Would be nice if we could pick up a few future talents. Sounds like the whole Under-19's were axed for reasons other than ability...

Ricksen
I was so disappointed when he left the filth. One of my all time greatest times was when he got sent off at Pittodrie, and the entire stadium echoed with boos. It was about the best domestic atmosphere in the past 5 years.
I guess that also shows how far we've fallen, as I can't remember any truely great times, and I'm 25.

Should explain further, was the keeper outside the box.

Probably know this already, but yes it is.

Cheers buddy.

The game gonna be on the radio?

It doesn't sound much, but to have two of Jess, Booth (pre injury), Gilhaus, Bett or Mason. I think we'd be contending for the title. I spoke to my dad about my first season at Pittodrie, 1994-1995. Just avoided relegation with a phenomenal end of season run, but i'd gladly swap that team for this one!
Just think, Bett to partner yon Mark Kerr, and Jess playing off Lee Miller. Title would be ours without a shadow of a doubt.

So that's 1 goal in 24 appearances is it?
Last time I trust Wiki, even if they do claim their stats came from Soccerbase.
-
Soccer Base has him on 1 goal in 23 games (including 14 sub apperances).

Don't know what's gone wrong there, but Wiki (who took their stats from Soccerbase in the first place), has exactly the same except 16 goals for the Dons. It also says "scored his 100th goal for Inverness against the Dons", that wouldn't be possible unless he'd scored at least 8 for the Dons. I think Soccerbase has messed up their data somehow.

67 in 116 for Caley is incredible as well. Better than Kris Boyd at Killie.
-
Was this picture taken when they heard Dennis Wyness had signed for them?
16 goals in 23 appearances for the Dons. We'd be choking our collective chubby if we signed someone with that record.

Your average SPL footballer doesn't need money.

The Championship are plundering the Scottish game at present and if they want a player then even Rangers and Celtic are admiting defeat. We had no chance if this guy had even a sniff he could get to the championship.
Steve Lovell chose Aberdeen over the Championship (Leicester?). It all comes down to whether your ambition is to win things, or to earn a little more money.

I can't say I disagree, because if they can't cope with a bunch of Spanish kids, how are they going to deal with scum like Rangers. Still, spitting in someones face is unacceptable, and the referee should have dealt with it.
Anyway, sounds like a good showing from the young lads, against what are no doubt technically proficient opposition.
