  1. The easy access to watching EPL, La Liga and Serie A where people can watch much better football in their own home.

Computer games, other sports and high prices for poor quality football don't help though.

There are numerous reasons for people not going to watch football and it's not just because people are pissed off with the manager.

I think overkill of live matches on tv and cost of getting in are pretty high up in reasons why crowds dropped.

  2. The West Midlands itself has a higher population than Scotland -

obviously more fitba clubs but given that i've been to pittodrie when 36k have been there

i do wonder what reason is for so many giving up.

The average when we were the team in the 80's was about 18k and for a city with

a population of 210k - compared to the 240k in Wolverhampton, so there's is better.

Maybe fitba aint that important up here anymore.

  3. Translation... "I never knew what "maladjusted" meant but in any case rushed in with a lunging two footed tackle, don't I look a right silly billy now"

I do - nearly every home game when I'm not offshore.

    I am also a shareholder.

I believe there are more important issues affecting the club than sacking a manager for changes' sake.

p.s. I can see Pittodrie from my living room window so am not a "non-travelling Donstalker"  ::)

Given so many are shareholders, i aint sure what difference that makes but when you are at pittodrie

you must see the reasons why people aint happy.

  4. I took it he was basically talking about everyone in that group as maladjusted. Mainly because they definitely looked like a motley crew.

I guess my take on it was down to my understanding of the meaning and the fact that he spoke about them as maladjusts (plural)

You are either twisting it, didn't know what it meant or are just fishing for the sake of it.

Jim , i thought it was meant in a nasty way, have probably over reacted but when i hear anyone described

as maladjusted i take it as being my understanding of the word.

TF aint here so if i'm wrong i'll apologise but ffs, it seems a bit ott a reaction to some pissed off fans.

There shouldnt be such divides amongst the support.

No, maladjusted is a term used to describe people who "aint right"

Of course, the lad in wheelchair is now not going to be included in that allegation

cos that aint the right thing to do.

  6. Aw - ye want me to go all childish Jeremy Kyle AFC-Chat on ye?

Away to bed little boy, is it not past yer bed time?  ::)

You have the maladjusted protesters you deserve. (meaning affected with emotional disorder)

So about 40 fans decide that what they see at pittodrie is dire and object to it they are maladjusted ?

Maybe if you ever take a trip to pittodrie you'd understand what the problems are.

  7. Grow up and quit the fishing! Don't try and get us to go down your AFC-Chat petty insult route

    http://www.thefreedictionary.com/maladjusted

    Nothing to see here

Oh dear, suddenly a word that's used in a fuckn nasty way isn't.

Funster can defend what i said seeing  as you aint got a clue what he really meant.

Or is it automatic that you jump to his defence ?

If he meant an attack that had nothing to do with the wheelchair bound lad i'll apologise

but that's not how it comes across.

  9. We will never get a manager to leave management in England to come to us. We can't compete with wages.

We'll be looking at a new young manager so it will be a big gamble or else we'll be looking at an experienced SPL standard manager, change for changes sake - with crippling expenditure for compensation and rebuilding.

    Who's Jewell with ?

Thought he was out of work.
