Don't know if anyones noticed but the BBC seem to be on the ball as always.
Go to the SPL page and see what it says under the match entry
FOOTBALLSPL latest - Gretna v Hearts
Hearts play what could be their last-ever game as they host Hearts in the SPL.

Anyone see Diamonds peach of a kick in the second half from the corner area. HUGE high slice right over the south stand. WHAT A BEAUT!!!!! I remember i stood and shouted THEYRES ONLY 1 ZANDER DIAMOND!!!!
Aye, right oot the ground! Wonder where it landed?
By the way, did anyone else notice there weren't any police from the north of the Merkie, to around the segregation in the South Stand?

Why?
I'm sure players have been bought then immediatly loaned back to clubs before, so what would impede Anderson?

If what I understand is true, and we have some form of coherant financial plan, then I assume anything earned form UEFA is a bonus.
As such, might it be an idea to put some aside on the chance of a season where our finances don't meet our targets, and thereby offset any potential problems?

If jimmy can iron out the occasional errors our defense makes, I'm quite happy with what we have to be honest. Makes me shit myself when the teams attack quite often, but it's usually nae too bad. Langfield makes one hell of a difference though!
We don't need Anderson back.
(Although, if we got him for free I certainly wouldn't complain)

Game picked up in the second half, well glad I went. Nearly didn't, but fuck it, Aberdeen beats Uni work any day
I was quite impressed by De Vischer, but Maguire must be reeling after getting that kick in the ba's!

I've just realised, I've been reading numerous topics on the Aberdeen response (As well as getting absolutely wasted, everybody in Aberdeen seems rejuvinated at the moment, woohoo! ) but what about Dnipro?
Last I read was that they were certain they wouldn't lose to us. Now that they have, there's been nothing. Or at least nout that I can find anyways.
So, has anybody got anything on the Dnipro response to our win over them?

Bayern at home for the TV money
Copenhagen away since I get free accomodation... But I doubt this will happen because it's such a good tie
Can't make two away games (work), but Spurs seems to be favoured by others so that works for me.
I'm honostly not sure which team would be the easiest out of pot 3, but I'd like a match that wouldn't leave us on potentially 0 points.

Group stages of UEFA cup, thats good enough of a run for me so far! Least we're still in at Christmas kinda
-
To be fair, if they are useless, I'd rather have someone that's at least tried and cared about the club, than someone who's just here for the finances.

True, but I just find it annoying that most of the articles on the dons end up having some sort of problem. If it's not slagging us, they appear to be incapable of basic spelling or proof reading. You think someone employed in a professional capacity probably would of made that in a few minutes and could at least of got 1 paragraph about us right?
But hey, I suppose you're right, it isn't totally negative.

Anyone else seen the skysports bit on aberdeen?
First paragraph on us...
Meanwhile Aberdeen eanred their first home win of the season, a result which sees Gretna sink to the foot of the table.Second and last paragraph....
Two first-half goals saw Aberdeen secure their first home victory of the season. Dons' Alexander Diamond opened the scoring on 16 minutes when he met a Jamie Smith cross with a looping header. Six minutes later Smith doubled the lead with a fine run and finish. Now, if you follow the link that they actually give regarding the score, they have it as 16 and 18 minutes.
Nice to see the journalism surrounding Aberdeen always seems to be of the best quality

Where would you have a season ticket and why?

I've always enjoyed the South Stand more than the others. I always seem to find idiots in the RDU nearby, and the main stand seemed a bit stale and condeming of certain things when all I wanted to do was yell abuse at a certain Hibernian player recently... *ahem* (Well, April 2006, damn how time flies)
In my opinion, Block X is the best. A little bit up, but nae too far, and you can get an excellent perspective on proceedings, while being close enough to hear the players, hear the atmosphere and yell at players without worrying about what you say (Encouraging things... usually), and see them easily. Of course, if you're short sighted like myself, sitting near the front is always a major benefit
