To me, he's just a manager that will come and go - he's not a new stadium in fucking Westhill for example - nae part of the fittings.

I just don’t think there was any chance at all Milne could’ve sold the idea, without his poster boy in the dugout. Moving out there is absolutely ridiculous. Milne thought it up but it was McInnes that sold it

And anyone who hates DM more than Alex fucking Miller is surely sectionable. I can see why some might nostalgically hold McGhee in high esteem in accordance with his Gothenburg exploits. McInnes is much worse for AFC than Miller ever was. He was just shit at his job.

The Spanish ref for the Rapid Vienna game & Ian Brines vs Utd in the league Cup semi at Tynecastle remain the two worst I've seen. Dallas jnr has massive potential to top those though

There's no point in comparing McInnes to any other AFC manager. None of them have had the luxury of facing what he has. Rangers dying, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee Utd all relegated & the worst Celtic team in years, possibly ever. Ebbe was shite but his win percentage might've looked better if he wasn't up against Henrik Larsson etc

European football is a good shout. It wouldn't bother me if we never kicked a ball in Europe again.

Vernon was a bit shite but contributed far mor to AFC than the fat lazy pikey who replaced him.

Been in countless heated debates with pished up teuchters about the merits of AFC being supported by weegies. It's only ever came to blows once, in the Beechwood Bar before the 2000 Cup final. A lot of windmilling, with no real clear winner. I never understood Aberdeen fans having a go at each other, especially when there's 30,000 Huns in the vicinity.
