scotfree Posted September 1, 2022 Share Posted September 1, 2022 Sad to see the death of Mikhail Gorbachev. I was born in the early 70's and growing up during the cold war era was a scary time. Personally, what Gorbachev did means more to me than any other politician in my life time. The Soviet union and the Eastern Bloc would have collapsed at sometime, but Gorbachev speeded things up.
