  1. Simply cannot lose this one. Record against County is good this season so hoping that continues on Saturday. As long as everyone is fit should be same team as Motherwell. As Manc says hopefully scoring for his country will have given Miovski his confidence back.

    2-0 Miovski and McGrath

  2. That was worst performance in a long time. Created very little and looked really ponderous on the ball. Needed to move it quickly to break them down but we continually looked to play extra pass or take extra touch. Patterson was honking all game again and we really need to hope Hickey is fit or McCrorie get back playing regularly as we cannot go to Euros with Patterson as our right back.

Michael O'Neill rumours doing the rounds, mainly based off his Northern Ireland press conference today where he didn't rule out the Aberdeen job.

I had heard a few things weeks ago but was under the impression it hadn't come to anything and any interest was now over.

But I would be delighted if there was substance to these rumours and it was him. The day Robson was sacked I tweeted two names - Jimmy Thelin & Michael O'Neill.

Would not be the worst appointment although he has been away from club football for a while. There were plenty of rumours that he was coming in when Robson was sacked so if it is him it makes you wonder why it’s taken so long and why we had to go through the whole Warnock farce.

TBH Jute it is understandable given those factors you've listed.

I will be going, although not with any great optimism if the truth be told, more some kind of blind faith that I suffered from for decades.

By the law of averages we have to beat that mob sometime at Hampden, given the odds stacked against this, why not this time 🤔

Should point out I am going but mainly because I am a weak addict.

  5. Thought we played well until subs came on. Moved the ball well and created some good chances. Think Gunn should have saved the first. Souter came on and was abysmal. Should not be anywhere near the squad.

Xavi seems to have them playing well now but I assume he’s not for staying.

They have some amazing young players.

He got sent to stand during the game for two yellows.

Was very impressed with Cubrasi last night. Was surprised when they said he was only 17.

Jimmy Thelin, Lennon, Michael O’Neill, Alex Neil, a return of McInnes……that’s about all I’ve heard of late, although don’t hear much 4200 miles away….

Don’t worry there’s not many different names circulating here either. Only new name recently circulating is Ronny Deila who has just been sacked by Brugge. Can’t see it being him either.

Danny Armstrong from killie worth considering? Given we have close to no width worth a look? Better than vinnie? Baccus not playing much for st mirren since his return from the Asian cup, tough to say he’s good enough for us if he’s not a st mirren regular despite being a regular for Australia…and speaking of Australians, would mind seeing Jackson Irvine back in Scotland with us. Just turned 31, maybe get a couple of decent years from him??

would really like to see us target good Scottish talent, anyone out there worth considering?

Armstrong definitely worth a look but with Killie likely being in Europe next season would he want to step down to playing in league cup group stages next season.

  9. Meant to say changed days at Barcelona. Playing with 17 year old centre back Pau Cubrasi who has been excellent and just brought on a 16 year old winger Lamine Yamal.

Next 3 games, county at home, bottom club livi away, Dundee at home.
county have us away, at killie, then home to rangers.

if we show up that’s 9 points, and potentially zero for county. We’d be 12 points ahead with 5 games to play, one of which against county. We’ve play twice at dingwall already so good change that’s a home game.

could be pretty much safe by the split.

Only played County away once in the league so far. Other visit up there early in the season was league cup game.

Welcome to our world, Wolves...2-1 up on 97 mins, lost 3-2 to Coventry.

I left house it was 1-0 Coventry with 10 minutes to go.

  12. Only sliver of confidence I have about tomorrow is that as bad as we have been this season we have still taken 7 goals off Motherwell this season so they are not that great either. As Orlando says above looking at squad I can’t see how we get a stronger team on the field than on Wednesday. I am not convinced by Phillips at all. Plenty of effort but can’t see anything beyond that. Problem is who do we bring in to replace him. I would keep Barron in instead of Clarkson as although he didn’t have a good game on Wednesday (nobody did) he has been playing better of late.

    oot - work again

local game if I get finished

Pinches of salt at the ready…

”Apparently Stewart Milne told a guy I do work for at a corporate golf day yesterday McInnes is coming back as manager but wants to wait till the international break to do it. Interviews this week are a smoke screen just sorting a compensation package”

While I don’t think it will be McInnes himself I can see it being a McInnes style manger that comes in.

  14. Another dreadful performance. Not a single shot on target against fucking Dundee. Admittedly if it wasn’t for a terrible VAR assisted decision to award a penalty for the ball hitting McKenzie on the shoulder it would have finished 0-0 but this team look completely broken and devoid off confidence. We never looked like scoring with us creating next to no chances for Miovski.

Now only 3 points off play off place.
