  1. Well done Jimmy. Take their money, don't deliver, cannot handle criticism. McNamara and Souter bye-bye, particularly McNamara. Let's end the days of under-achieving poor football. More can follow and the quicker the better!
  2. A legend of his time! A great side and Derek contributed key goals in big games. Always sad when a former player dies. Best wishes to his family.
  3. Just to confirm like most others that I am delighted to see the back of this guy! Yes, he could play once upon a time, however he can hack it no longer and goodbye! Even as early as the away match against Panathinaikow he was selling the jerseys with misplaced passes (so much for the experience he was supposed to bring to such matches). Even after the Q.O.S. game he was seen in the Hampden V.I.P. lounge swanning around with a big smile! Bye Bye!
  4. Bottom 6! Superb! £35M debt - Superb £11M annual wage-bill for under-achieving players - Superb! Administration! Bring it on! Laugh myself to death at these losers!
  5. Dons just deserve top-six - tonight's match similar to cup-tie and we have mostly delivered this season in these type of matches. Thought Aluko and Nicholson played really well and fair play to McGuire for notching a couple. Overall top-six now achieved, a cup-final (probably)to look-forward to, a semi-final already reached (disappointing outcome) and last-32 UEFA Cup makes for fair reading! Pleased for ll involved and let's go to Hampden and deliver against the Doon Hamers!
  6. I'm standing by Jimmy Calderwood. Aberdeen have improved a lot under his contol, despite financial restrictions that many preceding managers never had to overcome. Yes, bad defeat, defensive errors, but I stayed to the end and managed to keep my scarf! On the subject of players; MacNamara is effectively finished at this level and Considine is never a left-back. Walker, Diamond and Bus (late-on substitution) showed commitment.
  7. I thought we played poorly in the first half (and towards the end of the second half). No width in first half, 4 midfielders grouped together, relying for width on fullbacks - very congested. Need to take chances, unfortunately Mackie (first half) and Lovell (second half) didn't! Need to win games like this, against 10 men for over a half. Keeper (Soutar) looked reasonably good with one great save. Fixture list hasn't been kind - to say the least - and we need to be very careful or confidence will be lost early on. Again, excellent away support, 6,500! New Dutch player looked Ok when he came on.
