Bit of a change of direction to this morning's listening

Loved this album back in the 80's.

Years and years since I last listened to it and still sounds really good.

Cyndi Lauper was just so full of energy back then.

Some superb tracks on this album including the controversial lyrics of "She Bop" although most folk had no idea the track was actually about female masturbation 😉

Stumbled across this album whilst preparing my radio show yesterday morning.

Remember this guy from the 70's as a country singer.

Turns out he crossed the genres and this was his last album prior to his death and crossed over into Jazz

Although not a live album, you just feel as if your sat in a late night jazz club with a pianist singing and a few guys playing behind him.

Superb album and delighted to have found it.

If you like your music with a jazz/blues/gospel feel to it, give it a listen

I got into early Genesis when I was at high school. Got the shite taken out of me for it, but no fucks were given. I kind of fell back in love with it the past few months. Finding this video is just sheer joy.

Nothing wrong with a bit of early Genesis mate 👍

Been listening to a fair bit of this guy's stuff today whilst working - Dave Mason, album is entitled It's Like You Never Left

Have to say wasn't familiar with him and reading up on him appears to have been more successful as a solo artist in the States than back here.

Started out in Traffic, many many years ago
