I would love to see all councils run by independants, to feck with party politics at local level, possibly national level too. Local politics should be 100% about local issues and local people with nothing whatsoever to do with either Edinburgh or London. The big problem now is folk elected to local councils just use it as a means to pander to their parties in the hope of getting a sniff of a seat at one of the bigger gigs in either of the above mentioned parliaments.

I am fairly certain there was an approach made for him, hence the news of the new deal. We will never know how the mind works of folk associated with either of the bigot brothers, but I honestly think Del is an intellegent guy and wouldn't have went anywhere near the place, but the media in Scotland is terribly biased towards the OF, so no wonder folk were getting a little worried over the past week or so. The fact is now we have him for another 4 years, which is great news and hopefully we can continue to steadily build upon the foundations he and Dod Yule have laid over the past few years. A good time to be a dandy.

Goodwillie scored 6 goals in the league If the guy could use his brain a little more he could have been a very good player. Think a lot of the problem with lack of goals is how we play and we don't really have a plan b when our system doesn't work. We do a lot of good stuff on the pitch in the final 3rd, but never usually have anyone available to finish it off, in the absence of Rooney, who does more than his fair share fo the team. A midfielder, such as Kenny MacLean, is just the ideal person to capitalise within our system, but I really feel that for a lot of games we should be capable of aving two up front and should be able to switch around our midfield players to accommodate this, but most times I have seen us with two up front we don't look very good.

The opposition he was up against last night, wasn't exactly great, for me would not add anything to the squad.

Taking the youngest to the upper RDS on Sunday, thats him been in all sections of the ground now, much to the annoyance of his elder brother whom I never took into the mainer. Anyways love the final game of the season, knowing full well we have a few weekends ahead of no fitba to look forward to so try and make the most of it. I cannot beleive Ando will be making his last appearance, doesn't seem too long ago I watched him make his debut.

Bit of a shame on Taylor, nae Willie Miller granted, but not that bad at all, would certainly say he has been as good, if not better, than Reynolds for the most part, not including his first few games, in my opinion. Brown, I would rate better than Langield, but not much in it, still think you can teach a guy to come off his line more, but for some reason our keepers don't do this, maybe down to coaching. Would certainly try and get a keeper in over the summer, but only if going to improve the team, nae point taking in what we have already. I think signing players with our budget is difficult, but for me Deek has been good in the market and rectifies his mistakes fairly quickly. Be an interesting few weeks and I am sure Deek will pull off a surprise or two to keep us dandies happy.

A keeper is a must, just hope we can get rid of Langfield, for me he is the last link to the bad years, but finding a goalie is not going to be easy. Somebody to replace Robson and the attributes he brings also. Looking forward to seeing Logan on the right and Shinnie on the left next season

WAs working today so couldn't get any updates on the game, just found out we have won, after being told it was a 2-2 draw, so fair chuffed with that. What a season this is turning out to be.

I don't really like using the word hate, but Mr Whyte I did with a passion.

I really hope we can have Russell lead the team out and grace Pittodrie for one last match, be a shame if he retired without seeing him in the red jersey again one last time. I feel really auld when I think about how much stick this guy used to get all those years ago when stuck at right back, nae many folk rated him and I am sure I was probably one of them.

Just thought I'd give this a go as Ab-Mad seems to be falling apart and losing more supporters than the Labour Party, shame really.
